    Cash is only one part of it. I lived on " Aboriginal land " in the Northern Territory for quite a few years.Want to take the kids to the beach? No problem - get a permit from the local Aboriginal land council. Want to drive to Darwin or someplace? No problem - get a different permit from another land council, but be aware it's only valid for three days and then another one is required. Nothing but official apartheid.

    Chong Chom is a border immigration point between Thailand and Cambodia. You can get a visa to enter Cambodia there but not much else. Kap Cheong is the immigration office near there but a few kilometres drive. Another immigration office is in Surin. Good luck getting any extension at Chong Chom. Unless they now do it at the market.
