Fluorescent tube to LED
The dummy starter is actually a fuse. Direct replacement of tube and old starter works fine. New led tubes usually come with the replacement 'starter'. Change both and good to go. Not so straightforward with the electronic starter fittings though. The whole fitting will have to be changed.

Where do you fit in Thailand?
I met an alpha male once in Pattaya. A short bald American man. Stamping his feet insisting he was an alpha male. I laughed in his face and walked away. He neither deserved nor got any respect from me.

Thermal Camera and Torque Screwdriver
A great selling point by the Fluke rep at a trade show demonstrating thermal cameras was taking pictures of the girls there. Could certainly see hot spots!

CNN Analyst: Climate Fear Stagnant for Decades Despite Alarming Events
As an alleged scientist, I'm sure you're capable of your own research into the commentary that rising CO2 levels follow a rise in temperature.

CNN Analyst: Climate Fear Stagnant for Decades Despite Alarming Events
Ian Pilmer may disagree with your comments. I've also seen commentary that rising CO2 levels follow temperature rises and not the other way round.

Macron Blames Brexit for Channel Migrant Surge as UK-French Deal Faces Turmoil
I seem to recall that during the heydays of ISIS/ISIL one of the leaders ordered the faithful to do something that Mohammed had done and that was to invade certain places. I don't think the do called pull factors come into it. It was a religious order and the faithful are carrying it outthere is a term used for it that I cannot remember right now. Hajj, maybe?

Trump's Tariff Troubles: Thai Academic Sounds Alarm on Key Issues
No, of course I don't believe locally produced goods are cheaper. People will pay more one way or the other. I guess the question is does my more expensive purchase benefit, for example China, or my home country and potentially increase employment and manufacturing capability? And in the long term reduce sovereign risk in the case that a conflict occurs. Which is looking like a real possibilty in the not too distant future.

Trump's Tariff Troubles: Thai Academic Sounds Alarm on Key Issues
There is an alternative view. The consumer does not buy the now more expensive imported goods but buys locally produced goods. The real pain is felt by the exporting countries who effectively see their exports plummet. They feel the pain big time.

Cash is only one part of it. I lived on " Aboriginal land " in the Northern Territory for quite a few years.Want to take the kids to the beach? No problem - get a permit from the local Aboriginal land council. Want to drive to Darwin or someplace? No problem - get a different permit from another land council, but be aware it's only valid for three days and then another one is required.
