Chong Chom is a border immigration point between Thailand and Cambodia. You can get a visa to enter Cambodia there but not much else. Kap Cheong is the immigration office near there but a few kilometres drive. Another immigration office is in Surin. Good luck getting any extension at Chong Chom. Unless they now do it at the market.

I've known a few Thai people die from cancer. Certainly no hospital stay or morphine. When it was diagnosed as terminal they were sent home and deal with whatever came next. Thailand isn't Australia with palliative care in my limited experience.

I've spent that in a four day weekend in bangkok. Spent 50000 on my birthday weekend. Had a great time!
