Also interesting is that Foodpanda is not profitable although Grab is, I guess because of their ride hailing service.

Both Foodpanda and Grab screw up bad every once in a while and there is nothing you can do about it as neither offers the option anymore of actually chatting or talking with a real person. So every time you order you have to accept that it is a calculated risk but it usually works great. Delivery from both is cheap enough and convenient enough that it is worth the relatively small risk of an extended delivery time or some other absurd weirdness. In my opinion, that is. I use one or the other every day. They do generally refund my money if an order does not arrive at all or it is the wrong order.

I recently bought a new HP computer which supports USB C charging. I was annoyed that it did not come with a 65W charger though, only the larger AC charger/cable. Any suggestions for a cheap 65W charger. Looking at Lazada it is impossible to figure out if the cheap ones are real or good. I usually just buy UGGREEN products but their cheapest one is 950 baht or so. I would like to pay 500 or less, but maybe that is not possible?

Me too. I have topped up my elder card three times, at 500 baht per time, since the new rule/new card came into effect. I asked the cashier about it and she said no problem. They have received no instructions about foreigners using or topping up the old elder card, only that the new discounted card is available only to Thais.

I am surprised, because officers working out of the Thonglor police station have a reputation for integrity and proper behavior. They live to protect and serve the citizens of their district and are prime examples of all that is decent and good about the Thai police force. That said, I am sure justice will be appropriately served in this matter and such an aberration will never happen again.

Assuming you are using Chrome. It may have added an extension to your Chrome browser. Go to the three dots in the top right corner, then extensions, then check for any McAfee or any other unknown extensions and delete or disable them.

As above, go to your apps list and uninstall anything that says McAfee.
