  2. The Blue line also has an "elder' card which makes all trips half price. It is available to foreigners 60 and over with no fuss. I just showed my Thai driver's license. BTS does not offer a discount to foreigners. I'm not sure about the Purple line or if the monthly passes are half price for "elders".
  3. I did the exact same thing on a rental Click. The rental shop came out with a replacement battery which they have because it happens all the time. I don't get the benefit of the whole annoying keyless system. You still have to carry the key fob everywhere. How hard is it to stick the key in and turn it that it needed to be replaced by some complicated technology?
  4. Yes. I know someone that got their fifth shot there last week about 4 months after their fourth shot. Bang Sue vaccination center is closing at the end of the month.
  5. I haven't read all of the answers to your question. So maybe this has been covered already. But on two occasions I've just bought Kindles direct from Amazon, not from a seller on Amazon but from Amazon in the USA. Shipping only took a few days and they guarantee no customs charges as you pay in advance. In addition if you call them up and tell them you have that bright spot they will give you a minimum of $25 off a new one even if it's out of warranty. That has been my experience anyway and that just about covers the shipping.
  6. Mine was from 2005 with a new passport a few years ago. I had lost all hope of online success.
  7. Online registration has never worked once for me in any of its iterations since its inception, despite all my best efforts. However, today, Sweet Baby Jesus blessed me and I was accepted into the tribe of online registers. Hallelujah!
  8. Enough already you two! I will turn this damn car around and nobody will go to the park!
  9. I haven't paid much attention to CBD oil recently. I know the law says it still needs to be no more than 2%. I'm not really even sure if that level is useful. However, any recommendations for a good reasonably priced source? Just looking for CBD oil with no THC. I did buy some high CBD low THC bud but I wonder if that's as effective as oil? I'm looking to use it for relaxation and for reducing anxiety. Thanks.
  10. Yes. I hope your recovery goes well Sheryl. You're kind advice is always appreciated
  11. Thanks all. Coincidentally, maybe, I went to the drugstore today and purchased the medications that were in this picture that a friend of mine took when they went to the hospital with covid. I also got zinc, echinacea and vitamin C. Then I got home and noticed I had a fever and felt lousy. Yep, I tested positive. Not too bad yet. Hopefully, the booster I got two weeks ago will have some effect.
  12. Good idea on the vitamins and Zinc! Thanks.
  13. Under the assumption that I'm going to contract Covid eventually I'm putting together a kit of common medications for symptoms, not including antivirals. Here is what I have so far which is what is commonly provided at hospitals, I think.. Any other suggestions? I know there are some herbal remedies even sold at 7-Eleven. Anybody know about that? Thanks! 1. Difflam throat spray. 2. Kamillosam throat spray. 3. Fluimucil for mucus 4. Telfast antihistamine 5. Paracetamol 6. ???
  14. Anybody stay at Nakornping Condo or in the vicinity? Can you tell me if the construction of whatever they were building ( a tire shop?) at the Huay Kaew intersection is complete? I'm thinking about re-renting a condo that faces that new building but I'm in Bangkok. I remember there was some concern about an ongoing noise issue from the air impact wrenches, etc. Thanks!
  15. https://thaigreenlab.com/ Saw some good reviews of the Thai stick on another thread in the cannabis forum.
  16. It's true that the students are young and likely will only suffer your mild symptoms. I feel bad for the older teachers though. I am in my sixties teaching at a university here.
  17. Thanks! I was able to make a booking for Friday through True but was thinking of going today. I will wait for my appointment.
  18. Does anyone know the current situation for getting a booster shot at Bang Sue? Is Moderna available? Is a second booster for those over 65 offered? Thanks.
  19. Any recommendations for a Chinese medicine practitioner in Bangkok? I have been going to Hua Chiew TCM Hospital for acupuncture and herbs but I just picked the doctor at random. No complaints, it is a good place and reasonably priced, but It would be good to hear of a specific doctor that you liked.
  20. I guess this is a scam of some sort. Same model as yours. https://shopee.co.th/ตะแกรงหม้อทอดขนาด5.5ลิตรใช้สำหรับรุ่น-MV-1402-MV-1403-ขาว-ดำ-i.225548862.13257463486?xptdk=b52b699f-4a09-4ca4-bc86-a875243eb6d9
  21. That's cool. Never saw one with a see through front.
