  1. I bought this from Amazon as it was actually cheaper than buying it in Thailand. It's perfect, cheap and does all the basic stuff I need. Dual HDMI ports means I can hook it up to both my TV and monitor. Comes with Windows 11 installed and properly registered and no bloatware at all. After using the coupon it was less than 6000 delivered. https://www.amazon.com/TRIGKEY-Computer-500G-Desktop-Graphics/dp/B0C15DTJMX/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3JKC9EPBYVANO&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.l-wm5m7VAj1UQWOcwI8run248n-AtC3UKl2ap1HkjokYmfTNs6zhWTn4isct9HnR0XFbGEqUnfoUt1wxPs5NHsoZB8OXeW_P-CXpvfO0nehHtTJJ0hVWoHZN3zt1GK2tarXz4PFXhBhMv3Up96xPGvBUXgW2suixhBdHH5iCnnUDnzxzM5dcPvKkhEETPx9zCjen68JqkhRyqHxEBl3mTUIPLNvUZm99u1RDDIxbAMs.stlkwygusJzNzMeK6-NJXpuJRR-5Dq6CCxQLWyKEBns&dib_tag=se&keywords=trigkey&qid=1723681965&sprefix=trigkey%2Caps%2C423&sr=8-4&th=1
  2. I have no interest in an internet forum fight.
  3. https://www.decathlon.co.th/en-TH Almost everything they sell are their own brands, that's why I thought you might have confused it with another store.
  4. I think you might be confusing Decathlon with some other store?
  5. I predict will be very happy to have discovered Decathlon in Thailand, as I was.
  6. Give it a rest! Who cares. Instead, let's talk about how the Democrats hate babies so much they believe in free abortions up to and after the baby is born.
  7. I just completed this quiz. My Score 60/100 My Time 75 seconds
  8. I have had the same address in Bangkok for 10 years. My 90 day online was rejected so I mailed it in the same day. I never received the receipt. I have done mail in and online reporting many many times so I know what I am doing. (I am aware of the timing issue where when you get rejected online it is past the deadline for mail in reporting (well played Immigration) but it has worked in the past.) Made the unpleasant trip to Chaengwattana with an appointment that worked perfectly. (Good job Immigration!) I presented the EMS receipt and tracking print out showing when immigration received my report. She quickly printed out the receipt that should have been mailed to me and handed it to me and told me the date on which I should report again online. I pointed out that online reporting rarely worked for me. Why doesn't it work? I asked. I don't know. Will it work in the future? I don't know. Why wasn't the receipt mailed to me? I don't know. Of course we were communicating through a pane of glass and she was wearing a mask (not that I blame them) so I might have misheard. She made it clear though that we were not going to have a discussion about anything related to fixing whatever problems caused my inconvenience or that might happen again. Oh well, that is life in the big city. 🙂 The 90 day report area was packed with no seats available. Go figure.
  9. I think it is good for my country that some people will think further into why they believe that.
  10. 1. I think it is quite good for the USA for people to see the attacks on her and, for some anyway, think about how and why she is being attacked.
  11. I just completed this quiz. My Score 50/100 My Time 86 seconds
  12. I wonder why they don't adopt non-violent protests like a nationwide work/student strike.
  13. Well played! 🙂
  14. Oops!
  15. Most normal VP I have seen. Speaks well, intelligent and the opposite of weird. Kamala is the weirdest candidate ever. 4 word response: Kamala is not orange.
  16. I would be willing to bet 500,000 baht that immigration is not going to allow DTV holders who came here for a single medical procedure or short cooking class to reenter the country and get another 180 days for five years without some difficult and confusing documentation. Remember, Immigration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who created these visas are two separate fiefdoms.
  17. I just completed this quiz. My Score 50/100 My Time 114 seconds
  18. Carl's Jr did not survive covid and they closed all their restaurants in Thailand in 2022. I don't think they ever found a market among Thai people. However, Taco Bell in Bangkok seems to be a hit with young Thais. When I walk past their shop in Paragon it is 90% Thais and Chinese tourists eating there. They have even opened a Taco Bell in Central Pinklao which gets almost no expats or foreign tourists.
  19. Long John Silvers has opened at Megabangna in Bangkok. That is going to some childhood nostalgia food for me. I remember going to Wendys in the basement of MBK in 1997 or so. Didn't last too long.
  20. +1 for La Casita - But I have only ever had the tofu chorizo burrito. It was damn tasty along with all the sides and condiments. In and Out has actually done a couple of pop ups in Bangkok in the last few years. And Shake Shack is open in Central World. Pricey though. The veggie mushroom burger and fries was 500 baht or so.
  21. Not that I expect anyone to care... I was able to top up my Elder Card, but the cashier told me that half-price tokens for single rides and the new Elder Smartcard are for Thais only. I guess they decided to let the old Elder Card, which is no longer available, die a slow and natural death. She had no problem with me topping it up.
  22. Bless your heart.
  23. I am curious, were you using the "Elder Card" or buying half price tokens at the ticket counter? I am curious if they will not let me top up my "Elder Card" or if I will be grandfathered in for half price rides. I ride the MRT to work and back four days a week so I save about 700 baht per month with the half price rides. No big deal really but it is nice.
  24. My bad. I misread the posts. Anyway, she graduated from historically black Howard University and still belongs to a dominant black sorority. That doesn't seem like denying her heritage to me.
