  1. I get my money transferred from the U.S. to my BKK bank twice a month, Depends on the cut off time its sent to Thailand, it takes 3 hours max for the funds to clear in my account. I don't know why people say its slow.
  2. There is no vaccine, or any covid test required to enter Khoen kaen province as I took a bus from BKK to Khon Kaen over the weekend and only had to fill a form with my name and info when I entered the bus station, nothing more was asked.
  3. Why don't you tell her husband how much you love her and come back and wright about it.
  4. It all depends on your city or village where you live in Issan as most village heads will make you quarantine for 2 weeks where if you live in the main city they just don't care and there will be no quarantine as that's from my experience traveling to Issan and back from a red zone province. Its best to check.
  5. Guess the OP never had sewer catfish before.....A delicacy in some parts
  6. Do I need a letter from my embassy saying they don't issue letters about covid 60 day extensions?.....Is that a requirement that immigration will ask?
  7. There is NO inter provincial restrictions, I took the bus to Mochit bus station from Issan over the weekend and there is was no one waiting for me in white overalls wanting to test me or to quarantining me...where did you hear that?. The bus station was actually deserted as there is only a limited number of bus companies that are operational and no one on them. The only issue is going back to Phetchabun from Bangkok and if anybody where you live has to be quarantined for 14 days as its better to check.
  8. Usually they leave their shoes to indicate they were first in line....Or is that the Chinese who do that?
  9. People will be allowed to travel between provinces by public transportation as of September 1 if your friend can wait.
  10. I was out the door at MedPark at 9:00am this morning after getting my first Pfizer shot, I'm 41 years old and no underlying condition. Second shot is on September 18, I told the doctor don't mix and match and give me Sino or AZ as the second shot ,she said no mix and match only Pfizer. I took a look at the line up outside for vaccine registration as I was leaving and it was snaking all the way around to the front entrance. Go early in the morning is all I got to say.
  11. For all of you saying there is no Pfizer available, I just got an email saying I'm eligible for a Pfizer vaccine, I'm under 60 and don't have any underlying medical conditions. Due to the recent change of the vaccination criteria from the government, we would like to inform you that you are now eligible for Pfizer vaccination at MedPark Hospital. Vaccination period: August 28 - 29th, 2021 Between 08:00 - 16:30 hrs.
  12. The sickening part about this is that these bastards would have gotten away with this murder if there was no camera recording it.
  13. Got an email tonight from Med Park Hospital, I had to read it twice as I surprised to say the least. I'm 41 years old, so I guess they are staring to vaccine us expats under 60. Due to the recent change of the vaccination criteria from the government, we would like to inform you that you are now eligible for Pfizer vaccination at MedPark Hospital. Vaccination period: August 28 - 29th, 2021 Between 08:00 - 16:30 hrs.
  14. My hotel already sent a TM30 to immigration and I have a copy as well. 10k for just a 60 day extension as a bit absurd considering some visa agents charge that price or yearly extension based on retirement putting the 800k in your bank. There's a lot of bad reviews on Grace from my Thai visa online that I just seen and one of them is that she overcharges for her services.
  15. I work remotely, My extension of stay based on marriage was done in Issan, Im in currently in Bangkok, as there is no public transportation to Issan these days due to covid restrictions I cant go back there to renew my extension so I will try to obtain a 60 day covid extension here in Bangkok.
  16. I entered Thailand with a Non O marriage visa. I don't see a point of using an agent if I have to go to immigration with them. My extension expires on a Sunday. Will the 3 day rule rule at CW count as if it expires on Friday and I can go there on a Wednesday to get the 60 day Covid extension?
  17. Does anybody know any good visa agents in Bangkok that can do a 60 day covid extension for me. I work during office hours so wondering how much an agent would charge me. I contacted Grace at My visa center and she wanted 10,000 bht which I think is way to much. Worst case I will take the day off and do it my self, but just looking around to see my options as I don't mind paying for the convenience of using an agent but 10k they are just ripping people off.
