Based on your apparent generalisation every destitute/beggars on the street of the world are there solely due to either/and being an alcoholic or having an unfortunate relationship with a female.

Geoffbezoz is correct. If you read the Facebook it has the information.

Then they should look at videos how to prepare food. There are lots of good videos out there about preparing and cooking the food. But you don't know how it's made if you see a video with someone stuffing herself.
Oh sorry.
The one I show, it thai woman in Denmark. It show her catch the food in Denmark the beach or forest. Mushroom, seafood, like that. And then she make it. And then eat too much. Stuffing herself. And the daughter also.
Quite interesting one. She popular and funny.

in all the times i have been into Cafe Amazon i don't think i have ever seen a Thai order a hot coffee. Thais wouldn't recognise a decent coffee even if it bit them on the bum!
You the coffee expert, but you drink Amazon??? Gas pump coffee. YUK 555555
A lot of Thais drink hot coffee. At home, more than ice coffee.
A lot of Thais recognize good coffee and grow good coffee in north Thailand, they don’t sell that at Amazon.
Have the Gloria Jean at Phuket Airport. About 170 baht with the VAT, taste ok, not great. But better than the Amazon!!! Serve in plastic. I think the business will fail. Expensive, and not so good.
The best coffee shop is the small one with the clever boss. Have many type, up to the customer.
Not Amazon, Starbucks, Gloria Jean. “Southern Coffee” not to bad for the franchise one.

Not what I'm saying. I'm saying people don't have the money.

Also better say, if you want to drink beer, no problem.
But the shop there not sell alcohol, just other drink and ice.
So must buy beer in Kapong.
Also have the expensive local durian “saligar” 300 baht for kilo.
it the yellow one in the photo. the white one only cost 30baht for kilo.
Both one is good.

Very informative post and I think it sums Thailand up nicely, many expats don’t see the cultural differences and believe that Thailand is the same as their vicinity.
( glad to see you are using your new found phrase “ not tarred with the same brush “)
My English teacher just told me I tarred the people from the same area with the same brush! He correct! 555555
So so I want to say “Generally speaking, people from ........”

Yinn, the police did not give anything to help in this case either.
Yes you are correct. I read/understand it wrong. The tourist people give it.

Mate, he fell off his bike and knocked over 2 bikes, probably little or no damage done and then he argued with the police. No proof so far that he was pissed. Overnight accommodation and a fine for being a goose should be enough. Plus the cost of the imaginary damage to the bikes.
He offer only 50 baht to fix the bike. Refuse to pay more. Less than one beer. Then hit someone.
If he just pay the fair price at the start he have no problem. No problem. But he argue. Big guy want to fight. But he lose.

When you have the answer pls let me know, I'll share with my wife who similarly watches, usually the same person, eating food. My wife's answer is "I just like to see her eating" which I can't understand.
When I reply that I get more enjoyment out of watching videos of people bonking she can't understand that either ????????????
You wife like this one right?
Thai woman like to know about how to make good food. It is interesting. So the other countries is interesting also.
Also have social pressure to be the good cook.

All the boss on West Coast need more workers now. Have to bring more from Burma to do it.

If its Britain and someone is killed on the roads regardless of where they come from the police will carry out a comprehensive investigation quite often closing the road for however long it takes to gather their evidence .. If the cause of the accident is deemed to be criminal especially if drink , drugs or using a mobile are involved then the driver will end up in court on criminal charges .. Causing death by dangerous driving at the moment carries a maximum 14 yr jail sentence but many road safety campaigners want it increased to a mandatory life sentence ..
Compensation for the family of folk killed or people seriously injured is usually sorted out by the insurance companies .. in the case of uninsured drivers the Insurance industry still pay out from a fund that all insurance companies contribute to but that takes longer ..
Insurance pay. Ok
The police give any? The killer give any?

Real question. I try google but can not find it.
If a foreigner tourist kills another foreigner tourist in US or Europe, how much do the police give to help?
And how much the foreigner have to give the dead foreigner family?

So true ... another post with useful insights. Thank you, @Yinn.
But I often hear my fellow expats talking about Thai people as if they actually were all the same. I wonder why they don't or can't see the obvious differences.
.
Because most expat know about the issan and especially the south issan people.
When I work the Patong hotel we ask for the foreigner passport and the Thai ID card, it have the province. About 90% is like that. Buriram, Surin, KK, Ubon, Udon ,Korat so much.
You right about that some people that can not see the “difference”. A lot of farang really think the tomboy is the real Thai boy. And that ladyboy is really the woman.

But the thaivisa have a lot sad lonely guy. They like talk about the prostitution. Look at what the most popular thred, in pattaya, the police go to the bar, make them excited about that too much. The brain same 14 year old boy.
Even the good positive news they complain it. 555555 everyday 5555555
Anyway, it more fun way to study English than read a boring textbook! Funny
I have the very ชับช้อนเหนือกว่า = superiority complex, I don’t get down about it.
But if they say thing not true, I am will say the true thing. Up to me.
