  1. You wouldn't put an extra 100 tonne tub of concrete on top of your building but it's OK for water.
  2. I was responding in particular to: which was incorrect. I have read Hassan's QR code pictured above and accessed his record. Any Thai IO could do the same.
  3. The Egyptian system in question uses a QR code which translates to a URL on their Ministry of Health and Population website which presents the data on the subject in a user friendly format. This is the same as for those vaccinated under the Thai system when they scan their QR code. It'd be easy for anyone in Thailand to scan it and access the data. Whether they accept it is another matter.
  4. What does your neice being at university to become a nurse have to do with second hand phones?
  5. In the EU, the ability to read and verify the data exists, and each country has developed their own app for the likes of restaurants etc to use to check in real time. Some actually generate a certificate while some just show a pass or a fail. I've got the French and Italian ones on my phone (TousAntiCovid Verif and VerificaC19) which are the latter and also the Irish one (Covid Tracker Ireland) which generates a certificate. Countries outside the EU do not have the data to do this so can only inspect what they're shown currently.
  6. In the UK you send your passport with printout from the application process to the Embassy where they affix the sticker and mail it back to you.
  7. To generate a European Digital Covid Certificate you scan a QR Code found on your vaccine record. It does not open a specific URL.
  8. You're wrong. Read the post directly above yours for a real life experience, and here's a snip from IATA guidelines for entry to Thailand. The 72 hours is taken from the time the results are issued.
  9. The timing is from the test result being issued, not the test being taken, which gives you more leeway.
  10. T21 have plenty car parking space of their own. This is an outside (council I think) initiative to provide more off-street parking for Joe Public.
  11. Not 100% , but that's what was reported in another thread. If the guy wanted to go from quarantine straight to Korat he would've been OK, but he wanted a week elsewhere and that was claimed to kick in the additional quarantine requirement. Nice geography lesson but not sure what it's doing in this thread. The teaching/education forum is here if that's what you're looking for: https://aseannow.com/forum/180-schooling-and-education-in-thailand/
  12. Next travel review is this week, probably 15th or 16th September.
  13. That is correct. Even approved products wouldn't suffice for entry to the UK if they'd been administered in Thailand. I expect this'll change over time, but that's the current situation. I'm here now for that purpose so plenty of time in my case, and I'm not the only one to do it.
  14. The vaccination program in Thailand is not approved so irrespective of the type or source of the vaccine it's no good for entry into the UK.
  15. This opening is not yet approved. There may be developments following tomorrow's CCSA meeting.
  16. I've not done it already but hope I'm still allowed to answer. ???? You need the insurance to be valid until the date you are stamped in to Thailand for. That will be the the date you're extension of stay expires.
  17. If you read this using the Italian checking App (VerificaC19) it will (should?) present you with a EU Digital Covid Certificate. Most or all of the other EU country official apps will also verify it (I've used Irish and French ones) and there are unofficial, third party apps which will do the same. They use completely different methodology from Thailand where the QR code merely provides a link to a MOPH webpage unique to that person's records and displaying them in a user friendly format.
  18. Where in Isaan? I've just read on another thread that travel to Korat will need 2 weeks quarantine on arrival.
  19. If this is your home screen it should be in the Google folder (top right of the 8 choices). Open that then drag it out to where you want it.
  20. Some bar owners have been telling their staff to get jabbed if they want to work. Seems to be available for all that want it now.
  21. I'm not sure to be honest. I have Thai health insurance for the medical side and UK based travel insurance for any other issues. With the flexible offerings of most airlines just now I'm not too worried about flight issues, but as you say, for people already there when a country changes status it could be awkward.
  22. Being a red zone is not the same as being put on the list of FCDO countries where they advise against (essential) travel to, but most of the time the two are identical. The latter is what usually screws up insurance cover. However, insurance is available from some companies if your country is on the FCDO warning list but you may end up paying more. This is from Avanti's website: If you've already bought the insurance and not travelled you should be covered for a refund, or if you've already travelled they may pay to get you home early. You need to read your specific policy.
  23. The article was just an example, of which there are likely many on both sides, posted in case readers were unaware of such views. It covered entry to multiple destinations. Some government's policy may be to pursue mixed vaccines from a clinical point of view, but not yet for travel for most as of yet.
