he is quoting 50,a possible 50 years no matter which way you see it,it could mean 49 years of poverty with the 50th year being the land of milk and honey,it could mean many other things but its 50 years no matter what, tell everybody all about it on here in years to cum,it wont bother me my life expectancy is only another 26-30 and i wont be in the UK to reap the rewards of the sovereign UK land free from its EU shackels hahahahaha

Which is exactly why he said 50 years. It gives him the wiggle room, after Brexit, to say, "Well old chap, I did say up to 50 years". Of course when it comes to the 50 year crunch, he, I and you will all be long gone. Crafty buggers these politicians - not.

Cheap sex and not waiting is what's important for me.

As this is a London survey, 2 pints of Rattler and back home for a bang is about perfect.

You joke but I watched a BBC documentary on these websites recently. When the women refer to the punters as "sugar daddy" they are sites mainly set up for prostitutes and their punters. The women tend to be students moonlighting to make ends meet and the men tend to be businessmen stopping in hotels and wanting a lady for the night. Due to the large number of business men staying overnight in hotels, London is the epicentre of this trade but they are operating in several major cities in the UK. I believe the phenomenon originated in the US. Not dissimilar to Thai friendly.

Far more indeed don’t smoke than do and almost all non smokers find secondhand smoke unpleasant. If that’s 'extreme and irrational ' explain why most countries ban smoking in public places and that’s starting to extend even to outdoors,as here.

Because again you say "almost all non smokers". Name one western country that has completely banned smoking on the beach. In fact name one country anywhere.

He quoted "the overwhelming opportunity for Brexit will be felt over the next 50 years. Key word there is 'felt over,' and not untill. Fast forward to approx 23.30 to hear what he said.

Which in English means that we will only feel the full benefit in 50 years time.

Which could be interpreted as we won't feel any benefit in the next 40 years. Typical politician speak.

For THIS time.. as the Tories + DUP hold a fast and overwhelming majority ( ?)  of... 312+10 seats of the 650...   https://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/current-state-of-the-parties/   and  https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-47787898

No. Thats the way it works. The tory party elects a leader and HM The Queen says, "Do you fancy the job of P.M. BJ?". Boris replies, "Wofffle woffle barf barf" and the job's his.

However, once in Parliament, MPs are entitled to call for a vote of no confidence in the Government. If they lose that vote then a general election is called. As the govenment is actually a minority and in a coalition (as you rightly point out) they are in a very precarious position if a no confidence vote were called.

The show's by no means over, interesting times ahead. There's a real possibility that Boris will be one of the shortest lived PMs ever.

I can understand a Thai does not know much about the EU, but.. British citizens, living in an EU member state since 1972...Maybe never got anything about the EU organisation at school ?

The EU is NOT a country, not a federation, not even a confederation, but.. an alliance of member states. Means, the leaders of the member states are the ones, who are in charge, forming the EU council. The president of that = Tusk. Appointed after an election for the leaders of governments, forming that council.

Then we have a "commission", to be compared with a commission of ministers, with a commissioner from each member state, appointed by THAT member state.  Each commissioner has a certain task, like.. a minister in a normal state. The president is now Ursula von der Leyen as successor of Jean Paul Juncker. In the past this person is elected by the heads of states of the EU members. Also the EU parliament has something to say about that appointment, by a Yes of NO vote. However THIS time the EU parliament tried to force their candidate to the ER council by bringing forward the "Spitzen candidate = Front runner candidate by the tree mayor parties, in the hope, the EU member states' leaders would accept this. Pity for them, that failed.

The EU Parliament has ONLY to choose the president of that parliament, which is now David Sassoli  as successor of Antonio Tajani

EU parliament has only a veto about the president of the Commission, whatever they make up as story.

Very informative but I think you meant to say Jean Claude Junker, not John Paul. maybe you were confusing him with Pope John Paul, an easy mistake to make.

well last time I was in Pattaya a few weeks back I got verbally abused by a

Thai women I was just waiting in front of 7-11 for my lady friend

Would that be sexually abused? Don't worry about it, I live in Pattaya and it happens to me all the time. It's just the local's way of showing affection. It's quite nice when you get used to it.

There are far more of us disgusted to get a nauseating blast of some selfish idiot's cigarette smoke. If your life is ruled by cigarettes you need to re-evaluate your priorities...not to mention your health regime.

My choice. Glad you are happy with the new rule on not smoking on the beach. Smokers aren't happy with it and the beach vendors aren't happy with it.

BTW. I think "far more" is a gross exaggeration. Most non smokers don't share your extreme and irrational view of smoking.
