I did. Not my fault that you didn't understand it or, more likeley, didn't fit in with your absurd urban myth.

If she did not do so, she violates the international marine law and can be sued for denial of assistance, and according to the law that includes migrants too. Some of the posters should have a look at the legal issues first.
She broke maritime law by ignoring the instructions of a warship. She is in goal and the ship has been seized. It could be years before the ship is released and only then after hefty costs. The captain will no doubt be found guilty by the Italian courts and if, after exhausting all other leagal means of appeal, finds herself in the ECJ, will have already spent years, not months, behind bars.
She and her charity are screwed.

What is moo kata?
It's a type of Korean barbeque. Very popular with Thais who even claim to have invented it. Can do it at home with a Thai barbecue and a moo kata ring, both available at any local Thai market. A very social way of eating. The food supplied is raw and you cook the food yourself at the table, or rather the women do. The men sit round with bottles of whiskey bought at the 7/11 and get hammered. My favourite kind of eating out.

Having rarely if ever ventured into the Trump threads I have no way of knowing the answer but I suspect there are far less B-B-Brexiters to be found regularly trolling there and none that withhold their nationality while doing so.
I can think of one who has posted several times on this thread!

Ah, now then, typical off topic brexiteer petulance.
Tell you what, nontabury, explain, in detail, the relevance of my nationality to the topic and I’ll tell you.
If you're not British he can put you down as Johnny Foreigner who has no right to voice an opinion on a thread reserved for true blue Brits.
He seems to think that everyone who doesn't agree with Brexit must be a Johnny Foreigner. It's how he dismisses their opinions.

I think on this occasion the OP is referring to a red songthaew used to transport people up and down Doi Suthep.
Either that he is referring to a fine example of a North Yorkshire seaside resort famous for its stunning beach .
And its distinctive architecture !, here’s a fine example dating back to 2013 !!
I think the beach is Cotham Sands with the Corus steelworks in the background.

I have had people try to pick my pocket 3 times whilst on holiday. Have lived in Thailand for several years and not once has anyone tried to pick my pocket, here or anywhere else in S.E. Asia.

Yep had one try it on me in Barcelona. Mostly Romanian Gypsies who have been forced out of their own countries. Mass clearances of gypsies happening in Roumania. Can't blame them for fleeing the persecution but at least they shouldn't try to live up to the reputation that they brought with them.

And if you pay monthly by automatic credit card charge then push hard for them to confirm they have instructed your bank to stop the automatic payments.
And no you can't do this yourself, when you signed for auto cc payments the fine print says only truevisions can do the cancel.
About seven years back we wanted to cancel this because we were moving out of Bangkok, true put us through hell, they did cancel the charging and then reinstated it. Beware.
Tried many times to pay True via their app. Always unsuccessful because it will only accept Thai credit cars although the machine in the shop accepts my UK CC. Therefore, I have always been forced to pay monthly in cash. My payment runs out at the end of the month and they won't be getting any more of my cash. Som nam na.

No mention of any deal in the Withdraw Act they did pass as a law.
Brexiteers understand that much, why don’t Remainers?Remainers don't understand it because a no deal Brexit has been ruled out by parliament. Even Boris has admitted that he's only using it as a bargaining chip and has no intention of actually leaving the EU without a deal. If we leave on a deal, no matter what that deal, we must pay the "divorce settlement" 39bn.
If you really don't want to pay it, just vote with the majority in the forthcoming confirmatory vote and remain in Europe.
Happy days ahead!

So he slapped two people for effectively 300 baht!
Vile creature of a man.
Not a very good idea to have separate buffets with different prices in the same restaurant. Add to that you can only sit in the seating designated to your buffet.
It's bound to cause issues but the way he reacted is appalling.
Why didn't he just upgrade the other members to the 495 baht buffet?? Cheap bastard
Exactly. I regularly eat out in a great moo kata restaurant near my home with family and friends. It has the same split price/split seating. To suit everyone we all pay and sit in the upper priced area. Usually i.r.o. 10 of us but still only a few hundred baht extra.

More than 20 bars are owned by one farang. Another owns 3 bars. Do the maths.

agree that this is reasonable, but seven quarters of the annual net contribution to the eu does not equal 39bn!
You'd be surprised how it adds up. I'm always shocked by my bar bill.

With AIS Fibre you can have three of their TV boxes that they call Playboxes. First box is included in the basic monthly price. If you add additional boxes it's Bt100 per box per month additional. You can connect the boxes to the router via router or Wifi. Better movie/TV programming (like having HBO movie channels) than TrueVisions and definitely a LOT cheaper. Get their AIS Playbox Platinum Full HD package at Bt599/month to ensure you get the full plate of TV channels and movies.

If you have one Platinum subscription and 3 boxes, do all the boxes have access to Platinum?

Is Thailand not included in this ?
https://www.premierleague.com/news/800503
On the eve of the 2018/19 Premier League season, the Premier League and beIN SPORTS have announced a multi-year media rights deal whereby beIN SPORTS will broadcast exclusively all Premier League football matches in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for the three seasons 2019/20-2021/22.
I've heard that Thailand isn't included next year. Same as Champions league this year. Available in the Middle East but not Thailand. True are cheapskates and won't pay for it. Same as when they stopped the HBO channels.
AIS has a far better suite of channels but for less monthly fee. Still no EPL though. Some channels have catch up and you can add Netflix to the box.
Also, my next door neighbour has AIS. I regularly lose the True signal completely for hours at a time. He never loses his and I have to access his router to use the internet. AIS is far more stable.

Thanks Pete - I do - having been here about 25 years and being able to read, see and hear. However as any local will tell you the term 'illegal' and 'enforced' dont really align well - particularly when police are often shareholders in businesses promoting the practice. Walking street has freelancers active in many of the clubs and bars, and it has gogo bars with bar fines. Soi 6 - yes no attempt to hide it there - a one legged 90 year old with a colostomy bag could find love there with sufficient baht in the pocket. However dont take my word for it - read the reviews.... and keyword search "Bar Fine".. https://www.thailandredcat.com/top-6-best-go-go-bars-in-pattaya/
I think you are missing my point. If the deed doesn't take place on the premises then no prostitution takes place in the bar/gogo. No on site rooms in Walking Street but most bars on Soi 6 have them.

Johnson warns EU against any 'Napoleonic' tariffs in no-deal Brexit

The terms of leaving weren't specified on the ballot paper but the Brexit team certainly did specify them to the public before the vote.
They promised an easy Brexit on terms that would be financially beneficial to the UK. A major broken promise if we are taken down the road of a no deal Brexit by a prime minister that wasn't elected by us.
