Lavish Lifestyle of UK Drug Lords Ends in Thailand Arrest
iLuvThai replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I think this is the first arrest I've seen in Thailand where the people arrested faces could been seen. Secondly if they were arrested in Thailand, why do the get the choice of where they'll go to jail? I guess he didn't watch enough Breaking Bad to realize you need to have what appears to be a Normal life. -
I wish I could help. As a long haul truck driver for 40 years, coffee is my beverage of choice. Sadly though I've had such crap coffee through out the years that I think my taste bud ruined. So now If it tastes like coffee I'm happy good luck with your search.

Does the UK credit card companies not have a system in place the you can either call them or go online when you're in the UK to tell them you will be in Thailand or wherever you go so they can put a travel notice on your card(s)? If they do and you did, I would find a card that's more customer friendly. I had to stop using my Canadian TD Trust Credit Card because they were the only card I have issues with in Thailand.

As a Canadian I hope you're not implying that our health care is better than the USA or our educational system is better. Free health care is great until you need it. Don't get me started on what passes for a education these days. And I'm speaking for myself when I say that I'm pretty sure the majority of Canadians don't want to be the 51 US state, but I will say proudly that as a Canadian citizen I support President Trump and still do even if the Tariffs are put on. He's doing what every world leader should be doing and that is putting his countries interest 1st.

British Tourist Knocked Out by Pattaya Club Bouncer
iLuvThai replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I'm guessing liquor courage put the Old guy up to it. It's amazing what booze can do. The number 3 reason I quit drinking whiskey. -
Which part do you get arrested for, buying condoms way to large for ya, or winking at the cashier? Sorry I couldn't help myself.

Backlash as Foreigners Give Monks a High-Speed Lift in Pattaya
iLuvThai replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
If a monk doesn't care how he goes from point A to B, why should anyone else. -
Bangkok Condo Raided Over Illegal Daily Rentals and Cannabis Use
iLuvThai replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Hers for lying I totally get that answer but in this day and age of internet security and scams, I would've hoped the online dating apps would have to have a system in place to at the very least verify a person age. Therefore the online application should be held accountable. -
British Influencer's Buddha Tattoo Sparks Thai Cultural Debate - video
iLuvThai replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Forgive me for pointing out what I think is obvious. In a world (Thailand and other predominantly Buddhist countries) where it's totally acceptable to Bow low, even get on your face to worship an statue, (idolize the image.) but a tattoo of that person's image is unexceptable. It seem oddly backwards, I would've thought Buddhism would celebrate the promotional aspect. -
If that's true then you where following to close to stop safely end of story.

Thai Woman Fined for Letting Tourist Drive Tuk Tuk in Phuket
iLuvThai replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
The foreigner probably paid the tuk tuk driver some Cash so they could get a picture of himself for his social media account. I wonder who threw them under the........tuk tuk 🛺 -
Thai Woman Fined for Letting Tourist Drive Tuk Tuk in Phuket
iLuvThai replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
I suspect a repair person would also be Thai seeing that it's most likely a job a foreigner can't have. Regardless, if your driving even a test drive you should have a valid license. -
Is there any help in Pattaya to seriously stop smoking?
iLuvThai replied to magmur's topic in Stop Smoking Forum
Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I ever did. It took serval years and many packs of smokes that got tossed in the bin, but the main take away was I didn't quit trying to quit. BTW I did the nicorette gum, the hypnosis and nothing worked. It boils down to how badly do you want to quit. As I said it was the hardest thing I've ever done but well worth it. And yes I am one of the ex-smokers that absolutely can't stand being around smokers. Best of luck. -

Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?
iLuvThai replied to impulse's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
I'll just say that it's a smorgasbord of shenanigans that I get up to here and there. There is a ton of other people in my niche doing way better than my channel but I still enjoy doing it, trying to get better. -
Asking for a friend. Where are you from? Curious to know why you left.

In Case You Missed it, the Tattoo Fad is Over
iLuvThai replied to Walker88's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
In the military I can understand, but I simply got tired of the money I spent on shaving and electric razor for me where a total waste. But to reach his own as I got to the age when people tell me I look like Santa or some character from Lord of the rings the movie I've never seen I just shrug and carry on with my day. But truthfully I get more 👍 then disapproving comments and besides if my wife don't mind what else matters. -

Maybe locked up for the man purse is a bit harsh but I do think that and any guy with a manbun needs to turn in their man card. 🙄 -

It's a good thing I don't follow the herd. Clean shaven faces are conspiracy put out by the Gillette company. 🧔 -
Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?
iLuvThai replied to impulse's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
I'm actually added both those devices to the list of potential purchases. I'm really liking the reviews I watched on the OPPO, but my wife told me she had an Oppo that only lasted 1 year. That was a while ago so I'm hoping they've improved the quality. Thanks. -
Phuket Raid Captures Four Foreign Hackers Behind 560M Baht Scam
iLuvThai replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
If this is true then they should be locked up in Thailands worse jail, I suspect it wouldn't be long before they're reconsidering they're lifestyle path that lead then there and working on plea bargains. -

I use My midrange Price Android to shoot all my YouTube content. Started with Huawei Mate 9 when they still had Google. Switched to RealMe X2 Pro which is what I using right this second. Wait a minute. Maybe that's why my channel sucks😂 no it's because others are doing way better content on my niche and I'm cursed with a monotone voice which even it's me to sleep. I'm really looking hard at the New Honor Magic 7 Pro but it's not a midrange blower it's considered a flagship. -
I've used Agoda many times traveling around Thailand and Vietnam since 2017 without issues except for the very last booking I did in Thailand. What amazed about this hotel was that it was listed as an Agoda recommended property. It was a dump. I'm guessing Agoda doesn't send out reps to check properties out. Yes it was a 3 star hotel and the price was reasonable. But they need to update the photos because it certainly did represent what we saw. Staff was okay for the most part but this property has been so neglected over the years that it now just needs a Bulldozer.
