  1. Yes. Do you? I agree with your above comment but in reality I would only use a delivered mix to a slump recommendation. And that would mean a machine mix untouched by Thai hands.
  2. Anyone know for certain anywhere that sells genuine 'Kouros'? Have been looking on and off for years.
  3. I have a basement in my house. Obviously it's below ground level. Did the builders put in a membrane? No they didn't. Using Portland cement in the concrete mix is just as good as a membrane as long as its done in one pour. Failing that you will have a cold joint and a weakness when it comes to being waterproof. You can fit a seal in a cold joint if one pour isn't an option. A cold joint seal
  4. The picture you displayed is an EDT bottle and not aftershave. It has a spray head delivery.
  5. I never use aftershave. EDP/EDT is much better and lasts longer. Best one IMO is Joop. Fragrance will last well over 24 hours.
  6. I disagree. Thais use tiles and Portland cement to create a waterproof membrane. It's just as effective. You'll lose more water from evaporation. How do I waterproof my swimming pool? Waterproofing of the pool is achieved efficiently by applying a strong waterproof cement mortar to the pool's walls and bottom, which acts as a sealing and smoothing layer at the same time. Thus, the smooth, stable and waterproof substrate needed for the application of the epoxy coating is created.
  7. I ride my bicycle 2-3 times, a week. I admit I ride in the hard shoulder lane being as there is no cycle lanes out here in the sticks. My biggest problem is/are the motorcyclists with the side car attached. They think they have the right of way if they drive down the hard shoulder the wrong way if the turn they want is just behind me. They think I should move right into traffic coming from behind to allow them to pass on my inside. Anyways I've had enough and now I stop cycling and just sit in the hard shoulder blocking their way. They really don't like it but I'm f***** if I'm gong to give way to them anymore.
  8. Thank you for your input Sheryl. I actually came across a brilliant forum thread about 'SNUS'. Another name for 'Nicotine pouches'. I read the thread completely and overall my conclusion is that 'SNUS' is beneficial in coping with depression/anxiety. It's just a case of me plucking up the courage to try it as I feel antidepressants don't work 100%. https://www.snuson.com/forum/snus/snus-and-health/1592-snus-and-anxiety-depression Another good read https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC526783/
  9. I was reading up on the use of nicotine pouches as a way to help with depression. I just wondered if anyone was using them? I really can't find any article that really gives a definitive answer. Any advise would be appreciated.
  10. I cycle regularly and I agree with the above. I find that motorcyclists are my worst enemy as they fail to look right when leaving a side road.
  11. The Thai driver admits to driving in the right hand lane. Therefore I assume he hit the cyclist head on as he was in the wrong lane?
  12. Try riding a bicycle in Thailand. If it ain't the dogs trying to pull you off its traffic not seeing you when passing a junction. Only this morning I had to take action to avoid accidents on two occasions. The first one really pizzed me off when the woman rode off without stopping and laughing.
  13. Anyone on here taking either? I suffer from Bipolar and I'm unsure my doctor will let me take anything other than antidepressants. If she doesn't, I may have to go find an alternative source. Any advice from someone using CBD/THC instead of antidepressants would be a great help.
