I am sorry people,why is everybody again complaining too much?

I must confess that I too dicuss some things with my children or and my wife attending a movie.

Normally the soundtrack is so loud,I could not bother anyone talking or whatsoever.

And when we do ,nobody seems to bother either,this is Thailand we do it the THaiway.....

Farang,as usual complain too much,and this the main reason I do like and love it in Thailand much much more,cause they do not care and everybody do their thing.

I can remember sitting in a Bangkok cinema,with my mom,and a farang with his farang wife came to me very disturbed telling me,not asking,to shut up.It got me by surprise,I am used to the thai,not complaining ,sometimes I have a hard time being a farang,don't you think,we do complain too much,why do we think that everything we discuss is better???Truly makes me very tired.You know that complaining in thai is impolite??Do not forget we do stay in Thailand....oke......

I am sorry I could not resist,but it really is sometimes too much,that's why.

Some rude, ignorant Thai is either chatting away on their mobile phone or just enjoying a conversation with a friend whilst in the cinema.

My Thai gf says it never happens in a Thai movie, but it sure happens all the time in English ones.

Again, this guy is going to be exposed to all kinds of diseases. If it were just a matter of money or "face" I'd say stay out of it. But this situation can go far beyond that. Have you seen anyone die from coplications caused by AIDS? Have you seen anyone takeing pills and praying for just another day of missery....?

You can satisfy your curiosity by going to the Camillian AIDS centre near Bang Chang, Rayong. It is along Sukhumvit, crossing number 7, km 21.

i didn’t like those comments.. cuz, i had experienced from near, to be next to a terminal cancer person, and u don’t pray fro misery, u pray cuz without hope there is no life. Sounds really ugly the way u put it.

Thank you for your comment. Anyway, I think you are the one who don't know about this area. You should have known that the land in this area "Silom" is the most expensive in Bangkok. Even considering this factor, the rental rate I offerred is still a bit lower than one bedroom rate around Sukhumvit in somewhere so far from the BTS station. In addition, the location of this condo is very close to both BTS and MRT. It is less than 50 matres distance! Even the car park in this area costs around 2000 baht per month. This condo also have swimming pool, fitness, sauna, kid playground. Think about how much you have to pay for the membership fee at California Fitness Center just around the corner. This is really bargain price!

I know the area very well, and I still think is expensive.

check out the schools available, Tammasat, Chula, Bangkok University, Mahidol, ABAC, all have different types of programs for international students, with various tuition prices. I start semsester one in august @ buic (bangkok U) and tuition for semester was around 32000 b. Depends on the program, and what your plans are for the future, but in the mean time you get nice ed visa, get to hang out here and learn the language, etc etc.

My girlfriend's starting there in August as well, and I'm going into my 3rd year there. It's a very nice campus! What major are you taking?

I'm at Buic, and well.. there are some great teachers, but some few that are there just to warm a sit.. lol.. but in general is okay, and in the office the stuff r quiet nice ppl.

I have recently come across an expat who has been telling his life story. He has met a bar girl who he says is different, got married etc. and is putting a lot into her financialy.

They are having some problems and when he started to tell us, we realised we know the family he has married into. The problem is, his "wife" is already married to a Thai guy and he is still on the scene, the expat has no idea. I hate to see him being made a fool of, but I am not close to him and all my instincts tell me I should not say anything.

On the other hand, I would like to be told if it was me.

The guy doesn't deserve to be made a fool of, and she deserves to be out on her backside at best.

is a very difficult situation. cuz first of all is non of your business but, there are a lot of crazy ppl around, I must tell u that last week I was outside MBK and a guy shot his ex wife and then shot his self, there in the street.. Just few meters away from me.

U never know what else can go wrong in a situation like that and with the time u can regret that u didn’t speak out.

The tunnel is closed. was outside the area that police allow to close late. so they moved to saladaeng soi 1 with a new brand disco "Fly" inspired in 70's . .. i went there for the opening and i didnt like it cuz i got dizzy by the purple disco ball.......

Agree, often the best way to get around BKK. Had plenty of scares and a couple of minor scrapes.
