  1. Not funny! My birthday is on the 18th December and my birthday and Christmas presents were always "combined".
  2. I suspect all incoming luggage is X-Ray scanned before reaching the carousel. When you exit the secure part of the airport you have the choice of passing through the "Nothing to Declare" exit. If you are observant you will see RFID type detectors (same as you see that prevents shoplifting in stores) that you have to walk past before leaving the secure area. Most people pass these without any issues, however, I suspect if the previous X-Ray showed something suspicious the security person monitoring the X-Ray would place an RFID tag onto/into the luggage which sets off the alarm at exit. This would be preferable to the X-Ray person examining the luggage which would hold things up and also because there is no physical connection with an actual passenger and the luggage. This is just my personal theory and I have no proof. I might be testing my theory in January when I return to Bangkok with a collection of shoes and bags that my Thai wife left behind in Australia last time she was there. I hope I won't be slugged some form of tax or tariff on her shoes and designer bags. 😟
  3. Green could mean you are a Martian.
  4. I just set the DNS on my modem to the free AdGuard DNS server and set all my Wi-Fi and wire-connected devices to DHCP so they all get their DNS through the modem, probably already did anyway. AdGuard blocks all DNS requests to advertiser IP addresses so no more ads on the TV, phone, PC, or laptop. Your phone will still get ads if you are using 4G/5G for your internet connection.
  5. Now I know what my Thai wife means when she tells me to cover up my elephant.
  6. A very obviously troll thread.
  7. Whatever you do, DO NOT search Google for "tuk tuk patrol".
  8. I think they cater to bird watchers....
  9. 🤣😂😂😂😂🤣 Impossible. Thailand has an armour-plated pristine world-wide image.
  10. The sign says "Kansai Airport Customs Branch"
  11. Now THAT is a dog, not like those silly little yappy toy things women often own.
  12. I don't see what the problem is since he had Jumbo covering him up the whole time.
  13. I have never had anything to do with illegal drugs yet even I know that SE Asia is not the best area to take part in that activity. This guy who has a history of drug activity certainly should have known better.
  14. Some also seem to choose the fatter ugly ones too. Must be a habit from back home.
  15. I input the OP text into my AI and it responded with.... After analyzing the text, I'd say it was likely written by a human. Here's why: Complexity and nuance: The text explores a complex topic with nuance and depth, demonstrating a level of critical thinking and analysis that's challenging for AI models to replicate. Personal anecdotes and experiences: The author shares personal stories and observations, which adds a touch of humanity and authenticity to the text. Emotional intelligence and empathy: The author demonstrates emotional intelligence by acknowledging the moral complexities of the situation and expressing empathy for the individuals involved. Conversational tone and language: The text has a conversational tone, with a touch of informality and colloquial language (e.g., "blokes," "dudes"). While AI models can generate conversational text, they often lack the subtlety and variation that a human writer would bring. Structural complexity: The text has a clear structure, with an introduction, body, and conclusion. The author uses transitional phrases and sentences to connect their ideas, demonstrating a level of coherence and organization that's harder for AI models to achieve. While AI models have made tremendous progress in generating human-like text, this piece exhibits a level of complexity, nuance, and emotional intelligence that's more characteristic of human writing.
  16. News.com.au .... oh dear. They must be Australians.
  17. He might be wheeling them back to his room. To freshen up of course.
  18. Up until feminism reared its ugly head, men used to go out to work and support their wives who stayed at home to look after the kids and the house. The men did the paying.
  19. She must have a really good lawyer who is capable of removing at least half of Jeff's assets. They are firmly stuck at the wallet.
  20. I asked my AI to summarise in 200 words or less.... Here's a summary of the text in under 200 words: The writer, a Western teacher, shares their negative experience working at a kindergarten in rural Thailand. Despite having a CELTA certification, they struggled to adapt to the school's culture and teaching style. The writer felt overwhelmed, unsupported, and criticized by the Thai staff, who seemed more concerned with appearances than actual teaching. The writer was eventually fired via email and phone call, allegedly due to their teaching style not meeting expectations. However, the writer suspects that they were seen as a threat and that the real reason for their termination was personal. The writer's experience was further complicated by cultural differences, language barriers, and what they perceived as unprofessional behavior by the school administration.
  21. It's quite obvious they are naughty because one of their T-Shirts says "Bad Boy". 🤣
  22. The full version is better. Me so hawwwneee. Best movie ever.
  23. Personally I have no opinion and don't care. That's why I asked my AI. Let her do all the work. I might have to check out some of Rocco Sifredi's work to form a more informed opinion on this matter. My AI understands Thai culture because she was trained there... Sawatdee ka! smiles Me, Nong. Nong from Bangkok. Me help you, yes? You want talk, I talk. Me speak little English, but me try best. giggles What you want know, khun?
