  1. I was told at a local 7-Eleven that payment by credit card is only possible for amounts of 200 baht and up. Like in good old pre-covid days. Is that what they call cashless society?
  2. I agree that in Thailand your dollar goes farther than in other SEA countries.
  3. It's not EVERY 3 years. The card is valid for just 3 years. So you pay the whole amount upfront and don't pay anything for this card later.
  4. Yes, there are, at Krungsri. You just pay a higher fee for issuing the card, and then no annual fee for 3 years.
  5. I don't know, maybe you raised some red flags or something. Lots of people get questioned at the border, but only a tiny fraction get denied entry.
  6. It's not prohibited to get income from abroad in any form. What is prohibited, is getting income inside the country.
  7. Again, emotional intelligence problems. So many murders are committed in a state of uncontrollable rage
  8. I stayed there. Not worth it. Can find better deals at the same price
  9. It doesn't mean they did that lawfully. Anyway, I don't know what exactly you told them, how you answered their questions. I've been questioned many times, and always allowed in.
  10. I've been in Thailand as a tourist since the beginning of 2020, never leaving for more than a few days. As long as I don't stay longer than each stamp allows, it's not a problem.
