As everyone knows, the first 35% of a budget are always used to line the pockets of the wealthy.
That seems like a high percentage. Hard to cover it up....slap me, I am hallucinating again! HaHaHa!

Have you considered what this says about the state of the Thai economy and banks? Well you can be certain that things are far worse than have been let on. One can only imagine what the PM promised him just to take the job. Even a capable respected man like this refuses to go down with the ship. Much effort is being made to keep up appearances after Autun screwed things up. It may be too little too late ... as indicated by this resignation. The bad news is going to bubble up when it can no longer be contained. Stay tuned.
I know things are bad when the Bangkok bank dropped my 12 month investment account from 1.5 to 0.5% interest. If I wasn't in the middle of visa extension I'd park it in another bank...with better rate. My 6 month investment will probably go from 1% to 0!

There are lots of online fax services, google it. myfax.com, hellofax.com
Go to the fax service website, upload or email your document and it gets sent as a fax.
Also apps for your phone that do the same thing.
Hi Peter, the problem is I no longer have a credit or debit card...or Paypal so despite the free trials or 3 free faxs I cannot sign up!

If you have contacts in Australia email it to them and then they can fax it to the government.
Have run into this problem before,
.
Probably the only option! My son is in Melbourne...hopefully he can go to a post office or internet shop.

India. River Engineering appears to be Indian, while Sanfoco is Thai and seems to deal in wood. Pun intended.
The Indians use a lot of Chinese components in a lot of products, so even if made in India......

You'll end up buying 20 of them in the same time period as somebody who has bought quality is still using the original item in. Difference is, yours is 20 x low quality misery, while the one who dished out has been enjoying the quality item all the time.
That's a bit harsh! Not all the junk on Lazada is low quality junk. Some of it is medium quality junk. ????

What's the first thing you would do if your the new Finance Minister (any country)...audit the books. My guess is an internal audit has turned up things that are so troubling the best thing to do is resign before you are sucked into a vortex of pain and suffering.
If the books are so badly cooked the whole of Thailand will feel the pain. "When will the SHTF" iS the next Question???

What you can buy new at the dealership is basically the same tractor the Europeans where buying in the 1980's. Not saying the new you beaut tractors from the big players are inferior, just older technology. There are plenty of Kubotas, Yanmars and Isekis around here with the Iseki brand being the minor player. Plus a lonesome Flord...I mean New Holland and a 6600 the earthmoving guy owns.
Got 25 rai of rice...don't even consider a tractor S/H or new. It will never pay for itself.

"chain tightening" Is this one of those Gotya threads where we all fall for it despite the fact most if not all Beemers are shaft drive??? Well...the sexy boyracer model has a chain...so maybe you have one of those! ????
If you have I am jealous already! ????

While sarcasm and humour warm my soul they could be on to something here! I wouldn't be surprised if the announcement tomorrow reads "An increase of 100% in the number of Thai tourists is expected soon."

What a racist <deleted> you are Richard, and you are from...? Wherever your from, we should probably ask the question “are there any honest (insert your country here) And should all (insert your country here) be deported because Richard is a complete racist A$$?
there are plenty of honest Africans living in Thailand, just that as they are law abiding, you don’t hear anything about them. Just as anyone and people from any country, the bad ones cause the good ones to be all tarred with the same brush.
As a kid my older brother used to say the only good...African....is a dead one. To which I replied "pull the other one" which in Aus slang means: your having me on with your broad assumptions. But over the years and seeing how white farmers are being treated in South Africa my view has changed a lot!

Those of us having been here 5 years or longer could be given an easy pathway to permanent residency forgoing all the immigration hoopla we go through 12 monthly and in doing so he will avoid gagging every time he has to say ex-pats are useful and an aid to the economy.
But then he was talking "foreign workers living in Thailand and foreign students studying " not retirees. ????

Dope and dopes. Makes for a good thread even if dopes don't always do dope. Hopefully many more pages of enjoyable/entertaining reading to come.

...was just about to say, is there a reason the recipient won't accept the document as a emailed pdf?
Australian government rules. They wouldn't do it on the phone because I have to show a bank stamp and bank manager signature on the form. Peer gave me a link to some free sites...I might get lucky!

There used to be free ones floating around, probably stlll some out there if you search enough. https://www.lifewire.com/free-fax-services-2378048
Why cant the people in Australia accept the document as an email attachment ?
You would have to ask the government why in 2020 they cannot accept emails.
