Has anyone heard if/when the curfew will be shortened? Did the CCSA say nothing about it yesterday?
-
I hope they shorten the curfew hrs. to 11-4. That will still discourage the drunken late-night gatherings they are afraid of while allowing some more late evening economic activity (restaurants, alcohol till 10, malls till 9).

Getting any rain ... always reminds of this scene from one of the greatest movies ever made.

I have been prescribed Dexilant 60. It is a PPI specially supposed to protect the esophagus in case of GERD.

The online records of my previous reports have not been updated with the postal and personal applications I made as a result.
I have now written and emailed IMM Division 1 and asked them to update the records, no reply yet.
I have my report coming up. Online has failed last few times and I have been using the post. If what you say is the reason for online not working then I am going to include a note in my report requesting that they update my online records. Not that it will happen but worth a try.

I doubt it has anything to do with the quality of the vaccines. But everything to do with not trusting the certificate that travelers bring with them. This came out with India where it seems Rs. 5000 buys you a fake. Once there's a way to instantaneously cross-verify with the source country (international DB) should be fine.

Just a headsup in case you got your Astra dose at Phayathai 2 hospital. I did on July 27. At that time I got a slip saying my date for the next dose is Oct. 19. Today got an SMS saying it's Sep. 30. Contacted the hospital and they confirmed that the date has been moved forward.

Thanks for reminding me. With USD at 33.57 THB I think I will transfer in a chunk of change right now.
Btw, Wise has excellent help. Once was having trouble setting up direct transfer facilities from my US brokerage. They had me sorted out in a couple of phone calls. So if you're having problems ring them up for a chat.

So the big question is: Is this a downturn in the upturn or an upturn in the downturn?
The answer will turn up down the road. With more daily data.

What is your problem with keeping the copy for yourself?
None whatsoever. Except past several times mailed in the copy with no problem so it was a bit of a surprise to get rapped on the knuckles.

I did my last 90-day report by mail in July. Got the whole pack (all the docs I had submitted) + the acknowledgement (the slip with "Receipt of Notification" at the top) + the note below. What does the handwritten "original no copy" mean?
The obvious answer is the original of the previous Receipt of Notification. But I like to hold on to the original and mail in a copy which worked all the time before. So is mailing in a copy actually wrong and the rule is the original? Or does it refer to something else?

My last PC build I bought the parts I needed from JIB here in Pattaya's Tuk Com, I spoke with the guys and made sure all components will work together, then I brought all the new parts along with my old parts (PC case, power supply) to a neighborhood computer repair guy and he assembled it for 500B, it runs fine.
JIB will assemble too won't they?

Why not simply solve the "acting up" issue?
Good question. Well, the acting up is a bunch of things, it's freezing, the graphics goes nuts every so often and there's a sound problem so I am scared it's going to die on me right in the middle of something important.
Which of course doesn't answer why not try to have it repaired. The it's 5 years old and I do have a budget for a new one.

Now that could be all above board and medically sound........but it does make me wonder!
It's the billion baht hospital system rolling on the backs of little billing bots aka docs. In the old country we had GPs with a local practice. They would poke and prod and then tell you to drink more water and less coffee. Sometimes that would be it or maybe a capsule or two. Tests would come when all else failed.
Are there non-hospital GPs here working out of a little non-fancy clinic?

What are you using your machine for?
Software development with a fair bit of animation involved. I am not a gamer though so don't need bleeding edge.

Can't remember how much I paid for the first visit, but I would be careful they don't reel you in.
Very difficult to escape their clutches.
Think I shelled out 250k over 6 months.
Yep, hate to say it but it's bit of a racket. I went into consult re occasional bellyache and came out with dates for endoscopy, colonoscopy, EKG, ... The doctor gets credit for billing. So there's the incentive.

Not sure if we're talking 20,000 or 50,000?

You guys seem to know what you are talking about. Appreciate your advice. So here's what I have in mind.
My existing system which I have been pretty happy with it except it's starting to act up now and then, hence thinking of replacing:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 @ 3.2 GHz
RAM: 16GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Storage: 2 x 1TB HDD
Motherboard: ASUSTek B150M-APROPOSED
CPU: 1151 Intel Core I7-9700K @ 3.6 GHz (without CPU cooler)
RAM: 32GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Storage: 1TB SSDMotherboard: ?
I am not a hardware expert. I just looked up online for moderate upgrades to my existing system. Budget? I can go up to 50k but would prefer nearer 30k. Again, many thanks for your input.

What Andrew should be terrified of is Ghislaine Maxwell singing for the purpose a plea deal. She knew all that was going on, not to mention the fact that she was the one who introduced Andrew to Epstein so would have had a particular interest in his recreational outlets in Epstein's company.

Thanks but Pantip's huge. Any particular shop you have dealt with?

I would like to have a desktop custom made. Appreciate a recommendation for a shop in the Bkk area. I am not a hardware expert so would be good to have a trustworthy English-speaker to sort out the specs with first. Thanks.

Why would a school director bail a student for armed robbery, would that happen in your country of birth.
Yes or No will do.
Yes.

When you say tooth broke did you have what's left extracted? Because if there's enough left you might not need an implant, just a "core buildup and post" (what they call it) and crown on top.
I have had an extraction and was given to understand that a gap like that in the tooth line is not good for the jaw bone. Bone loss starts and if it's bad enough bone grafting might be needed before implanting.
Curious what you heard that implants can do more harm than good. As I'll probably be getting at least one.

U.S. Topic -- What does it mean to be an American abroad in a time of a historically severe civil war like crisis back home?

They are not exempt. Read up before posting false and tendentious info. USPS doesn't take federal money so they don't fall under the federal employee's mandate. But they fall under the large corporations mandate.
You need to leave the US pronto. Your brain is dumbing down. Or you're reading FB in a feedback loop. Here's a start for you to do your own reading: No vaccination is 100% protection. E.g., one vaccinated person in a room full of sick people will likely get sick. But the probability diminishes exponentially the more people are protected. Just google the rest and, no, not from red meat sources. Credible ones, please.
