  1. Have this problem too. Psyllium husk, isabgol, has eased it lot. I take it in capsule form. Seems to help clear the whole gastric pipeline from mouth to the other end. My belching is less frequent and bowel movements improved. Give PH a shot.

  2. Do you know anyone in Korat at all? A trip to this address would be an errand a local motosai driver might be happy to undertake for say 1k b. If you don't try posting on one of the TV local forums asking help. There are plenty farangs in the Korat area so I am sure a TV member will pop up to help out. Just send them the money/info and I am sure they'll be able to organize a rider out. Good luck. I know how stressful a situation with a loved one going missing can be.

Edit: There's an Isaan local forum.

How can they? Vaccination is voluntary, for both nationals and foreigners.

True vaccination is voluntary. At the same time there is no right to fly. It's up to the airlines who they let on their flights. Security risk, disruptive behavior, inappropriate clothing, etc, etc., all as "perceived" by the agent at the gate can get one barred from boarding.

And I disagree with the notion that airlines will not impose vaccine mandates on their own in order to fill the flight. I think they are far more likely to attract passengers with the assurance that everyone on board is vaccinated for the simple reason that pro-vaxxers far outnumber anti-vaxxers.

claims made online that Bangkok would get its heaviest rain in 1,000 years come the end of the year due to a La Nina

Ah, those good old days. I remember paying a gal with a chicken and taking her back to my cave and then we take both take off our goat skins and clean ourselves by scraping our bodies against a rock and then it's on to the good stuff on the dirt floor.

vaccines do work, but not in reducing infections. vaccines are good for preventing hard symptoms.

Wrong. It does both. But it's a numbers game. No vaccine is 100% in preventing infection. Which no one claims either. Even if it's 90%, 100 out of 1000 vaccinated will get infected.

And the reason that vaccines reduce infections and prevent severe symptoms in case of infection is the same: the body's resistance to the virus is enhanced.

All over the world, scientism, political and media communication is spreading the hate message that anyone who is not vaccinated is a public danger, a terrorist, a person to be hated, imprisoned, isolated and maybe killed.

    ...

The unvaccinated ones probably not only risk not having their visas renewed, but even being considered as pariahs, a sort of European Jews of the new millennium.

Excellent! If science can't convince the birdbrains peer pressure just might.

"Not vaccinated? To the back of the bus please. And zip the curtain shut after you."

"Sir, the unvaccinated toilets are in the outhouse. Across the field."

"Not vaccinated and want to fly? We don't sell wingsuits at an airport. Look for a store at the top of a cliff."
