  1. Thanks for you input Mr. Superiority or is it Mr. Hostility?
  2. Starbucks taught me that I am a very poor retail market analyst. When Starbucks first came out I was going around saying "Who is gonna pay $4 bucks for a cup of coffee?". Turns out just about everybody. Bought a couple coffees at the Starbucks near my job this year; but generally I walk by them and get a can of Nescafe Espresso for 18 baht at TOPS.
  3. Easily explained. How dumb is the average person? Half the people are dumber than that.
  4. The 9 laughing emojis might give you a clue that the comment was intended to be humorous and the intent was detected by others but possibly not by you.
  5. From your post it appears that this has not happened to you. Why do you think you are likely to provoke it? Or just fantasizing as a result of watching action movies.

I find a lot of people to be very generous in their self appraisals. Nothing unusual about it, tough to be accurate in judging ourselves.
  7. OK, but a poster doesn't need permission to provide links and/or proof. Doing so will validate their factual claims. Is moderation needed to promote this? I think the best info will be recognized if this is done.
  8. I would be happy if the motorcycles just stayed off the sidewalks/pavements/walkways. I will gladly dodge them in the street but they always startle me on the sidewalk.
  9. From the article it sounds like he made a reasonable effort to accommodate her. Maybe she was just a beeyotch.
  10. The war of personal experiences continues. I had the COVID vaccines, January of 2021 in Los Angeles, worked throughout the pandemic seeing patients after discharge from hospital. During that period LA county was at times among the "hottest" areas in the world for new COVID infections. I never got COVID. I have had a total of 5 COVID vaccinations and boosters. No side effects from the vaccinations or boosters, no COVID. I always recommend a visit to the reddit "Hermann Cain awards".
  11. The quote was from former Federal Judge and informal adviser to Pence, Michael Luttig. He was discussing the Colorado decision on MSNBC. He did not seem to predict disqualification saying "if he is to be disqualified". The words "thinking about it seriously" seem to be key. ' “It is a natural and expected reaction by all Americans,” to think in terms of politics, Luttig said, “But upon thinking about it seriously, I think it’s crystal clear.” “It will be crystal clear to the American public that it’s the Constitution of the United States that’s disqualifying the former president from higher office, if he is to be disqualified,” he continued. “It’s not President Joe Biden. It’s not the Democrats. It’s not the anti-Trumpers.” The Colorado Supreme Court determined that Trump was responsible for the Jan. 6 Capitol riots and should be disqualified from the ballot via the 14th Amendment. 12. Economy is going well but apparently the man in the street does not believe it.
  13. I don't think the poll that is quoted was restricted to Colorado. Even still, polls....
  14. When you say snacks I am not thinking about health, just about snacking. I like these, apparently they are a NE regional thing in the US, company is in Pennsylvania but I never saw them in the midwest or the western states. Anyway, I work next door to a TOPS and TOPS has a big snack section with lots of choices from US, UK, Australia... Asian nations as well. Just a stroll up and down the aisles there you will probably find something you want to try. I also like the dried peas, not the wasabi ones they are too hot for me. I am a junk food junkie and always find something different to try at the TOPS junk food section.
  15. I think this is true. Even in Bangkok, I have lived in Ratchayothin and in Saphan Sang areas of Bangkok and there are very few farangs to be seen there. When I ride the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS I am always surprised to see so many farangs.
  16. You realize you just discussed it right?
  17. All humanity can be proud of Marty, what a fun guy. After this video gets around, no doubt the offers to be an underwear model will be coming in.
  18. So if I want to avoid "Little Pattaya" on Soi 81 where should I tell the taxi driver not to go. You know, to avoid it.
  19. great job getting the 2000 baht back. I hope he comes through with the rest as promised.
  20. OP is proud to declare his latest diversion is bullying prostitutes. I am not sure it is possible to sink any lower than that. But he will probably surprise me.
  21. In the wife's defense, I think that might be a bottle opener.
  22. How does the OP feel about scenes of attractive lesbians making out? I wonder because I quite like those and feel that there are not enough of those.
  23. Are you suffering from an irony deficiency?
