  1. I've seen a few people around Pattaya wearing them.  I assumed I could find them at Buakhao market, Mikes Mall, or Pattaya Night Bazaar market but I could not find them there.  I will ask the person next time I see someone wearing one.  Does anyone know where to get them in Pattaya?  I've seen a few variations but I want the one that looks similar to the image below. Note the spacing between leaves.  I found other variations around town but I want this one.

The image below is not what I want. I did find that one for sale in a clothes booth in front of Central Festival, but I am not interested in that variation.

There are a few different variations and color schemes.  I've seen light background and black/dark background.  I have seen green background/leaf, blue background/leaf, black background etc.  I like all those as long is it's similar leaf pattern as the top image.   Not like the image at the bottom which is too busy looking imo.

i would be more happy inside under strict controls and perfect optimized conditions for growing the best flower possible.

as others have stated....it's not so easy to grow outside here.

Yes it is.  I walk around every day seeing stuff growing on the side of the soi's all over the place just like any other plant.  Probably with very little care and attention.  There is a reason it's called "weed".  I also know people growing stuff on their balconies without much difficulty. There are certain strains that are more well adapted to Thailands climate and those are the ones that should be grown outdoors. For outdoor growing in Thailand with minimal effort I would recommend an autoflower strain.  Google should be able to help with that.

People selling seeds should be of some help as well.

Yep, everything bar bananas is rubbish and bad for you over time, but who cares, it usually tastes good and is convenient and cheap. We all gonna die anyway!

Except the unhealthy ones tend to spend their later years in misery with chronic health conditions, so best of luck with that.  Ask anyone who has watched what happens to their diabetic parents in their final years like I have.  Diabetes is no joke and gets more unfunny the older you are.

  4. I decided that if I am going to retire in Thailand I need to learn to speak Thai.  I have gotten away without knowing much for many years of visiting.  It's just a personal goal I have set myself if I am going to live here and gives me something to do.

I will be living in Pattaya.  Anyone know of a good school, one on one teacher or other method?  I am also looking for app and online suggestions.

  5. So I finally went to BIDH for consultation on IV sedation.  They were very professional and the dentists seemed quite competent, so no complaints there.

I was all set to do it when I realized that the price they quoted me was only for the sedation part.  It's way more expensive than in the west.  Over 40k baht just for the sedation. The form said "IV sedation for foreigner".  So I think I was getting overcharged just for being a foreigner as well.

The dealbreaker was the fact they wanted me to get a bunch of tests at Bumrungrad to determine that I was medically fit for IV sedation.  It may have been due to my age but I am not sure about that and they didn't really say that directly.  I didn't need any tests in the west when I had it done last year.  That would have cost at least another 3000b but that was only their estimate. It may have ended up being lot more with it being Bumrungrad and all.

The price they quoted me just for the crown work I wanted done was quite reasonable though. Less than the quote I got in Canada.  So I would say that place is probably a good option just for that without any IV sedation.  They also offered the option of laughing gas. That may be all some people need if it's just for anxiety.  My problem is that I have trouble getting fully frozen, the laughing gas doesn't help with that.

I tell you, almost every day I see a new weed shop in Pattaya that I had not seen a few days before opening.....They are breeding like rabbits...

Someone had said before there were now like 50 weed shops in Pattaya....As fast as they are opening I bet there will be 100 weed shops in Pattaya by next year.......

I don't quite understand why there are so many... .Late middle aged men are not exactly known for being big consumers of weed...And the Thai I bet are not paying retail prices...Its all kind of a mystery to me.....

I guess you are not in Pattaya or never leave Soi Buakhao.  It's not just late middle aged men walking around.  ????‍♂️

Lots of young couples, Indians, Koreans, all types.  I would say late middle aged men comprise significantly less than half of all tourists in greater Pattaya.  Those guys are mostly just concentrated around Soi Buakhao.

  7. You can get the locally outdoor grown "Green Crack" at Cannabeach on 2nd road between Soi 7 & Soi 8 near Central Festival for  50b/g or 300b/10g.  A friend of mine that smokes daily gives it two thumbs up.  Says it will probably be his go to daily weed from now on.

I suspect there will be a lot of locally grown stuff flooding the market now that we are at the 4 month mark of legalization, which is about how long it takes to go from seedling to bud.

Don't buy the cheap "brick weed".  Cannabeach sells it for 30b/g and 150b/10g.  It's complete garbage according to my friend.

You cannot get Zolpidem, whether generic or not, OTC in Vietnam. Not only that, but pharmacies just don't stock it. Even most hospital pharmacies in the provinces don't have it. You will have to go to one of the bigger hospitals in bigger cities.

The locally produced version of Zoplicone (Zolpistad) is readily available OTC. Zoplicone is not Zolpidem, but for me they are equally effective.

That's too bad.  I can get Zolpidem (brand name Stilnox) over the counter in Cambodia as well as lots of other stuff that tends to be highly controlled in many other countries, so I assumed it was also possible in Vietnam.

Zolplistad 7.5mg (Zopiclone) available in most larger pharmacies. 24-40k VND/10 tablets.

    Haven't prices Cialis.

Zopiclone is not the same as Zolpidem.

Ambien is the non-generic name.  A cheaper brand name for it is Stilnox.  You can get it over the counter in Cambodia. I would like to know if you can get it over the counter in Vietnam and if it's any cheaper there.

I assume you mean the 60-day permission to stay you received on entry, not the original visa's expiry date.

As long as you have not spent a long period recently in Thailand as a tourist (like over four months or so out of the last six) you will, as you hope, be able to fly out of Thailand and back for a 45-day visa exempt entry. It can be risky if you meet the wrong official who decides you are "abusing" the visa exemption process. Denied entry can happen then, but is not that common.

You have the option of extending your permission to stay by 30 days at immigration which would be more convenient if you only need another month, and have no great desire to visit another country.

    That is correct.

I understand that I can extend my 60 days in country by another 30. I am flying out because I actually want to visit Vietnam and maybe Cambo, not just to get the waiver on re-entry.

  11. So if I fly out from Bangkok to Cambodia or Vietnam just before my 60 day tourist visa expires in November, and then fly back a week later, I will be able to get the 45 day visa waiver correct?  Assuming I am from a country entitied to the visa waiver, which I am.

It has been stated a million times plus in threads that there is no limit on number of visa exempt entries via air.

Your question to the io should have been..." Since there is no limit on visa exempt entries via air why do people occasionally get refused entry"

There is a 2 entry limit in writing somewhere, but I think that is only if you do border runs by land, not through the airport.  That is probably why this keeps coming up and why there is some confusion.

    Slightly off topic ...

I see a Sativa dominant strain Orange Sherbert 18% THC and Orange Sherbert Auto up to 24% THC.  The Auto strain is a newer strain but why the higher THC content?  I presume both have the same lineage - Orange Cream, Purple Urkle, Cherry Pie.

How does breeding with Ruderalis increase the THC content?  I'm not complaining ..

I believe the "Auto" means auto flowering after a certain time period.  Usually around 4 months.  I'm no expert but I think that is what you want to be growing outdoors in Thailand because the hours of sunlight don't really change and that (also changes in the spectrum of light) is what causes non-auto strains to flower.  If growing Indoors you can do that artificially.
