  1. You know that, I know that, they know that, everyone else who has read the explanations knows that. Not sure why you are trying to argue with me about it. Have a nice day.
  2. It says exactly the same thing on the tourist visa so they probably just cut/paste it from that. This point shoot aim stuff is typically how everything works in Thailand. Like the Marijuana laws. Just throw it out there and then figure out the details later.
  3. What is stranger is that it says Employment Prohibited. They probably haven't finished tweaking it so maybe just an oversight.
  4. It's 180 days with one 180 extension allowed, and says it prominently in the official documentation.
  5. I expect those applications to skyrocket, as will the cancellations after the visa is issued. The smart thing to do is require a non-refundable deposit.
  6. These are all trolls and trolls get quoted a lot. That is their whole purpose in life. I don't want to have anything to do with any of them, including when others feed them by quoting them. An ignore feature is useless to me unless I can ignore their quotes as well.
  7. The last thing I want to do is give Thailand my tax return. Was the letter on your company letterhead or just a blank page with a few sentences?
  8. The rules for this visa do not say that your soft power or workcation documents need to remain valid for 5 years. The only mention of showing documents again is the bank statement if you extend. Yet another reason to just leave the country and re-enter instead and avoid all that.
  9. Extra virgin anything has a shorter shelf life yes. That is the tradeoff. I can still cook with extra virgin olive oil up to 400F with no smoke which is the highest setting on my air fryer. Frying pan and stir fry is probably too hot unless you try keep the heat down so better to use refined olive oil for that.
  10. If you want to risk being blacklisted from Thailand for life for forgery/fraud be my guest.
  11. And probably cancel it just as easily after your visa gets approved. It does sound like a rather low bar to be sure.
  12. People are probably trying as we speak so we should be hearing some first hand experiences soon enough.
  13. It doesn't even need to stay in the account. You can deposit it the day before the statement is generated and then take it out the next day.
  14. I think that was part of the first announcement of this visa back in June.
  15. That is only one possible type of digital nomad. A lot of people will be self employed and not have a freelancer portfolio. I am one of them so I am trying to figure out what I can show them.
  16. Most people will be trying to qualify for the remote work option. I just went on the eVisa site and created an application and there is a requirement for documentation to prove that. It sounds like they want some fairly official documentation of that, so some people may have a problem qualifying depending on what they are doing. I doubt they will accept people showing screenshots of their youtube channels or whatever.
  17. It says a lot when the best the convicted felon could do for a VP pick is someone that hates his guts as much as a bunch of other terrible people that in turn hate the VP picks guts. The usual douche bags are probably already trying to spin this into some sort of 3d chess move.
  18. Most probably will do border runs. They probably did that on purpose to reduce the load on immigration offices. I think all these new visa changes will help do that.
  19. The convicted felon is such a bad candidate that his VP pick hates him and Republicans with his signs in their front yard want to assassinate him. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/10/23/jd-vance-ohio-senate-trump-comments-516865 https://www.newsweek.com/thomas-matthew-crooks-donald-trump-sign-yard-neighbor-assassination-attempt-1925678
  20. Butter is also going to be expensive in Thailand though.
  21. It doesn't go in your passport. Assuming it's like the tourist visa, it's a one page PDF you print out and show immigration. Then they stamp your passport and hand write the visa type.
  22. It doesn't matter what the official limits are. Immigration can and does harass people all the time for overusing the waiver on arrival. If they harassed people for spending too much time in Thailand on the 30 day, they will still harass them with the 60day, it will just take less entries before they do it now.
  23. It's high in saturated fat which we used to think was bad. A bunch of studies have come out saying it's not, so the consensus is shifting. A lot of the old info is still out there and hasn't been updated.
