I had an ultra-sound today at a Thai hospital. I was just about ready to enter the radiology room when they wheeled in a foreigner in a wheel chair that was covered in blood. I had to wait my turn (1 Hour) to have my test after the battered and bloody foreigner was finished. I asked this guy what happened to him and of course he was in a motorbike accident. I wonder how many foreigners come to Thailand for "Medical Tourism" concerning motorbike accidents.

So true CharlieH, everyone wants to kill you. And this is the reason I will never get on a motorbike in Thailand. I own a car in Thailand but rarely drive as it really stresses me out to the max. I often hire a driver to drive my car or take a taxi.

The Thais do not care about any stinking zebra crossings nor do they care about any laws because they are not enforced and Thailand is a corrupt country.

In my tower condo building the Thai management turn off the lights in the stairways at night to save money. These ignorant (which are most) Thais do not care about the fire escape being too dark to escape a fire but would rather save a little money for themselves. The Thais only care about money, nothing else matters to them.
