    I took a walk down the walking path along Beach Road last night and was sorely dismayed at the destruction of the path to make way for more parking. Many trees were cut down and the path was a mess. I assume that more trees will be cut down to build this insane cable car system. The minds of the Thais never cease to amaze me.

    That seems to be the general idea of most Thais, they just do not give a damn. Not just about dogs but about most issues including their environment, ethics, corruption, etc. The mai pen rai attitude is an excuse for blatant apathy.

    It is insane to get on a motorbike in Thailand regardless of who is driving.

    It is very dangerous to drive a motorbike in Thailand. A much safer alternative would be to rent a car from one of the rental car businesses in Thailand.

    Most likely because you are an upstanding good looking citizen that obeys the laws and contributes to society.

    I like to see the Russians in Thailand. They come as a family unit with a husband and wife including small children. The wife often wears a dress with nice dress shoes on. To me this is much better than seeing hordes of men in packs from another unnamed country that are also visiting Thailand.

    Very sad indeed. I just do not understand why these old geezers insist in riding motorbikes in Thailand when they know how dangerous it is. I often see foreign old guys with their tanned ladies hanging on the back of their bikes weaving through Thailand traffic. It is much safer to buy a car or rent one for the period of stay in Thailand. Anyone who rides a motorbike in Thailand is taking their life in their hands.

    The truth will finally come out and be exposed but unfortunately it will not do any good because many American citizens just do not care about the truth.

    The best thing to do is never use Google. Duck Duck Go is a much better alternative.

    While VP Harris is not the sharpest pencil in the bunch, this is good news for Thailand and its environment. Nuclear is much cleaner than fossil fuel and generates much more power than wind or solar. More countries need to explore this clean alternative to fossil.

    A very interesting poll. I thought I would like to assimilate when I first moved to Thailand twenty years ago but now after getting to know the Thais and their culture, I have zero interest.

    I have lived in Thailand for over twenty years and I love to read books. So far this year I have read over one hundred books mostly on my Kindle. While I enjoy reading books while sitting in front of a fireplace with a cup of Java, I also enjoy reading while sitting on the beach listening to the waves on the shore. The nice thing about the Kindle Paper White is that you can read it with no lights on indoors or outdoors.

    Whereas Governor Ron DeSantis served as a Lieutenant, Judge Advocate General Corps in the Navy. He was also awarded a Bronze Star Metal and the Iraq Campaign Metal. De Santis is a true patriot, while Biden lives in the basement.
