Is this one going to have an even lower death rate than previous variants? Are we still expecting >99.7% for non-elderly? Pretty pointless observation. Say there is a 1% death rate for WITH covid. If there are more cases, it is obvious the absolute number of deaths will go up. It is still the same ratio of case/death, so who cares. " 95% of new fatalities were vulnerable and elderly people, especially bed-ridden people who contracted the disease from carers.
