Genetics don't make you fat. They only predispose you for that possibility, as do those with a fast metabolism that end up fat. It's all about what you eat.My dad was in good shape into his 40's, then started to get fatter, and ended up with a belly. I've never had much excess fat all my life because I've always eaten healthy and exercised , and was ripped from age 18 to 60. Now I have a litttle extra but still abs because I haven't been able to work out as much with weights, gym far away.

No pain, sorrow, depression or narcissism. Being able to eat whatever you want. We are supposed to be given a young body, so there will be no bad talk about others. We will all have a mansion, so jealousy will be gone, as well as greed. Being able to fish and hunt within walking distance of my mansion. All the animals I had back again. Being able to be around all of my family and friends. Talking to God about all of what came before. All the music you would want, of course no violent or sexual lyrics, as sex wouldn't be a part of it, procreation not necessary. Everyone, including past wives and girlfriends, all friends without jealousy from the sexual part.

Healthy and sustainable diet? - Heres How !
fredwiggy replied to CharlieH's topic in The Wellness Zone
Actually I've been on the subject for over 50 years. Basic things don't change. What your body needs is still the same as way back when. Obesity has increased all these years, along with all the overweight people. Things haven't changed much. There aren't any shortcuts to health. Genetics plays a huge role but you can ward off some things if you follow the basics. -
Healthy and sustainable diet? - Heres How !

Time spent on cell phones leaves less time for exercise. People have been eating much the same all along, and there were many fat people back in the 70's also, but it's been increasing all along. You can see what's happened here in Thailand in the last 30 years. The obesity rate has climbed since western food has been introduced more, especially the fast food kind. When I was a teen, we were out every day, playing baseball, football , riding bikes, and just walking around discovering things. I rarely see children on bikes here, as everyone is on a scooter from age 8. -
Healthy and sustainable diet? - Heres How !

I've seen this posted so many times and it's always wrong. We aren't carnivores, and eating just meat is a very unhealthy way to live. it leads to many diseases. Cancer, constipation, heart disease. A variety of vegetables ,grains and fruits gives you the essentials, plus helps to maintain bowel health. Colon cancer is a killer, and it comes from not enough fiber. Vegans do not have to supplement their diet if they research how to combine foods to have the essential amino acids for maintenance. Eating just beef and water is plain stupid, and you'll get scurvy as one result. The Keto diet works because it starves the body of sugars. This is okay for awhile to lose weight but it's not safe over the long haul. There are people that will promote this because it worked for them to lose weight. Everyone doesn't need to read up on anything because losing weight, maintaining that weight loss, and being healthy is very easy. You eat in moderation, leave out the junk foods, extra refined sugar, heavy drinking, do regular exercise and eat frequent smaller meals and you'll never be overweight or have health problems. I've maintained the same weight for over 50 years by doing this, and I'm not working out as much as I did before i moved here, although I will soon. To serve man, there must be farms, and these need fertilizers. There are ways to eliminate problems with this if they wanted to. There will never be a world without carbs, as they are needed, and loved, by billions of people. Meat isn't the problem, but leaving out vegetables, fruits and grains is. There are so many articles that are common sense out there. This is but one..............https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/fiber/art-20043983 -
This happens to over 35% of the children here. Many of them grow up disrespectful, in jail, on drugs, promiscuous , in gangs or drunks driving scooters. Some end up okay. Most don't turn to killing their family. Its a tragic situation where a girl was likely abused and took it too far. No one stepped in to help, as is the case everywhere. If my children left their children because they didn't care to take care of their kids in my care, as grandpa, (my ex girlfriend did with our daughter), I would take care of them without abuse, so they would have a chance. You can surely push most anyone to homicide if they are constantly abused, and this girl will now pay for her crime. Lasting memories.

The girl might have gotten rid of an abusive grandma, but she will never let what she did go in her mind. As she gets older, she will understand there are better ways to solve this kind of problem and will always remember she killed her own grandma. Hundreds of thousands of children here are left to their own devices and grandmas house and have an uphill battle from the start. Boys get into gangs, hurt and kill others. Girls end up promiscuous having no fathers guidance and love. Many end up in jail ,prostitution and drugs because they have low self esteem from not being taken care of in their formative years. These kids aren't winners by any means. Everyone loses here.

I see it many times in my daughter's school here. Besides the farang calling, some will give you the finger. Girls and boys. No respect for elders, let alone foreigners. taught by ignorant, jealous locals who know their own family are a mess. Another thing I see, daily, are boys kicking, punching and hitting girls outside the classrooms while their teachers are sitting inside on their phones. They let them walk around the school grounds during classes. This is how boys learn to degrade women. They see this in their own homes, and their friends doing it, so follow with this behavior when they get to be teens, then adults. Another of the many reasons I will leave here asap with my daughter.

Elderly Australian Caught Stealing Vitamin C in Chonburi
fredwiggy replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
Guessing the store would rather make a profit than letting the court decide, whereas they'd get nothing. A business can drop the charges in this case and it would be up to the police to also charge him, which probably wouldn't happen because then it would require paperwork. -

That's actually how most 82 year olds will look, with the exceptions of those who have taken care of themselves most of their lives. And everyone needs Vitamin C. -

Winona Ryder is one, along with thousands of rich that prey on the poor in many ways. -
Another one drowns likely not being able to swim. The boat operator was 63 and afraid to help? Guessing he couldn't swim also. The brother in law hesitated to help because of a particularly strong current in a canal? The body was found next to the pier, meaning no strong current. No one teaching them swimming as a child claims people almost daily here.

Father and mother abandon the girl, if the father was involved at all, then an alcoholic, abusive grandma takes over. The end result was tragic for those involved, but a child without parents to teach her respect is bound to be angry. As one said, respect goes both ways and is a taught behavior. This type of situation is repeated daily with almost 35% of children raised here, and the endgame shows in the violence.

Those things bring on depression. Depression is not only clinical. Other things are alcohol use disorder, bipolar and schizophrenia, all mental illnesses. What I said is that people kill themselves because of depression. This is true. Not that that is the only reason but the major one, and all involve low moods from things that make a person depressed.

Thailand is dependent on farming to survive. No rice, the country's in a lot of trouble. Life exists everywhere because of farmers, especially in a poor country with mostly imports. Even in America, mechanized means running harvesters and planters. Farms are still run by farmers. Here it's not about money but survival.

Body of Man Found with Throat Slit in Apartment, Najomtien
fredwiggy replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
Actually, most people who are stabbed will survive if brought to a hospital quickly. Even stabbed in the heart, up to 90% of people survive. The best chance to survive is if the knife is left in the wound. A cut throat will kill quickly seeing the knife is usually removed and the jugular is cut, bleeding the person out quick. What my point was, is when you see people dying from knife wounds on TV, it's usually bs, as knife wounds take time to bleed out.
