Sexpats are those that are here with no intention, at least for now, of marrying a Thai woman. Just here to have sex with Thai women one after another. Expats are those here retired. This also includes the husbands and boyfriends of one Thai woman, if they are loyal men. Some like bar girls because they are easy to get, and some end up marrying them. Some, like myself, came to Thailand to visit and ended up marrying a local country girl, which in my case especially, didn't work out for the best besides the fact a daughter was created, and why I'm still here, at least for now until we can both leave. Children who are half Thai are much of the time looked at with prejudice. It isn't the children's or the dad's fault but the locals ingrained attitudes towards foreigners that's been handed down to their children. Nothing to do with selfish.

Parents Warned After Child Rescued from Locked Car in Chon Buri
fredwiggy replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I don't assume. I have 6 kids, and fully know what it takes to take care of children safely. People get lazy, everyone at times, and a habit means just that, doing things without having to think about them, to protect those children. People who make mistakes aren't always stupid. Getting out of your car and going into a store is what millions do daily. All it takes is a little extra effort taking those kids out, or leaving one parent behind. Being lazy is thinking, "I'll only be a minute or two", and that's when problems happen, like doors locking. This isn't the case of leaving kids or pets in the car for hours at a time, which does happen and kids and pets die from it. That's stupidity or a complete lack of caring. This was a case of being lazy, thinking they'll be back in a minute, and forgetting about the possibility of the doors locking, which does happen even if the keys are in the car and it's running. -
Parents Warned After Child Rescued from Locked Car in Chon Buri
fredwiggy replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Happens all over the world and kids have died in the US from this quite a few times. Needs to be a habit. Bring the kid with you, lock the car. Or one parent stays while the other goes inside, then switches. Simple. It isn't worth the embarrassment or loss of a child or pet being lazy. -

New hope for men with delayed ejaculation
fredwiggy replied to CharlieH's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Three, as stated, involves thinking too much. Men, those who actually care, try much of their lives to last longer for the woman's pleasure, and sometimes it doesn't happen because you have trained yourself to last. Relaxing and thinking of the woman's beauty in front of you helps. -
Couple Dies From Drowning During Fishing at Nakhon Ratchasima Reservoir

Exactly what I meant when I said monitoring activity. Enforcing laws saves countless lives. People will drown all over the world because they take chances, bend the laws , or ignore them. Common sense is absent from this country. -
Name one recipe that you cook at home whilst living in Thailand.
fredwiggy replied to ubonr1971's topic in General Topics
Pasta usually works and most everyone who tries it likes it, if you have a good sauce. I use ground chicken or turkey (can't find gr. turkey here yet), stir fry it until browned, then add to the pasta. Finding a good sauce here isn't easy, although Tops has a couple. When I go back home to visit, I bring as many jars as I can fit in my bags, wrapped in bubble wrap. Finish with grated parmesan (if you can find it, canned is okay also). My girlfriend isn't much of a pasta fan yet, but she loves when I make meatballs. I use ground beef, pork, bread crumbs, garlic powder, pepper, salt, eggs, parsley and oregano. She loves them. -
What does that say for the 60% obese and another 20% overweight men around the world, in different percentages in different countries of course? Looks aren't all all women look for. Attraction helps but there are a lot of other things besides money and looks that keep a woman attracted and has them want to kiss men. Of course there are gold diggers that only care about money, and will sleep with whatever to get it, but a majority of women just want their man to listen to them, and be there when needed. It goes without saying you should provide for them, as poverty and whatever else that goes wrong doesn't make a woman romantic thinking. Women are usually more critical about what they see in the mirror than men. Men think they are better looking than they actually are, unless they are humble. Millions of men are being kissed right now by pretty women, and no, not all of them are slim, muscular and handsome.

Just came across this post and now I'm a little confused. Aren't you a pensioner or retiree? If so, this is a topic that should never be posted around men who knew the answer to this many , many years ago. I assume that most here already know the answers. If you're around women a lot, you know. They give off clues. The only girls who don't want to be touched are those that don't trust men, meaning all men. Not just foreigners. When I met my ex, she wanted to take a picture with me by her friends at the hotel I was staying at. I just met her and moved next to her and she was shaking, telling me she probably never was around a foreigner, as she wasn't. I put my arm around her and that got things started Too bad then ended badly, besides the fact a girl was born from the marriage.

You actually have that backward. You've said you just moved here so you think you know Thailand? I knew what goes on here 30 years before I moved here, and it's been proven ever since. I'm not refusing to learn Thai, I really don't feel the need, and I've gotten on here just fine with translating from my phone, my ex and my now girlfriend. As far as living in a bubble, I'm well aware what goes on not only here but all over the world, as I'm a reader and watcher of world news daily. Best not to assume about others. I was talking about regular bullfighting if you didn't understand that.Animals fight in nature because that's what they do to survive. People watching animals kill each other is sadistic and shows a disturbed mind. Sorry if you think that way but millions of animals lovers disagree.

Couple Dies From Drowning During Fishing at Nakhon Ratchasima Reservoir

Regulations would prevent this kind of tragedy. I'm thinking they were using nets instead of fishing rod and reel, as many do here and which doesn't help conservation. There are many places in Thailand which are ruined because of netting. No one seems to care to enforce conservation here. The lake in front of my house is over 50 acres, and would be a good place to fish if they didn't net everything out they can reach. Some have drowned here also, because no one is around to monitor activity and a lot drown in Thailand because swimming doesn't seem to be something taught to children much. I'm a fisherman but don't do it much here because of this netting. I see them going into the water all the time, and there are holes in the lake. If you didn't know how to swim, you could step into a muddy hole and drown. -
Bull fighting is another form of animal abuse. I do like seeing the bullfighters get thrown. makes it a little more even.

I worry about all ways people disrespect women, children and animals. Israel has it's own Airforce. They really don't need our help.

Man Assaulted by Girlfriend’s Ex in Samut Prakan
fredwiggy replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Finding the need to fight 5 against 1 isn't tough. Taking away the tiny percentage of Muay Thai fighters here, who I'm sure don't pick fights needlessly, many here haven't the slightest idea how to fight without using a weapon or kicking someone when they are on the ground. There are quite a few farangs here, myself and some I know personally, who could take on 3 or 4 of these boys and knock them to the ground hard where they wouldn't get up. Flab doesn't mean weak, nor does out of breath. -

You can't steal a woman from another man. You can only be there when she decides to leave. It's all the woman's decision who she wants to be with. Fighting over one is acting like cavemen. His assessment that he was fragile is spot on. Anyone who has to use a weapon to fight another unarmed person is a coward, as many attest to daily here, knives being used by many if not most in fights. Women are promiscuous everywhere, and moral also. Women in general don't understand a man's thinking, many wanting to be with the bad boys who will use and then leave them, while there are many good men around who aren't even noticed because of this off way of thinking. A major reason the world's population is so high. Mating with useless sperm donors. -
Despicable practice done by those who have no respect for life and only profit by any means. This is the difference between a country that has developed and one that's still way behind..............https://www.humanesociety.org/resources/facts-about-cockfighting

Is Thailand a good place to settle down for the rest of your life?
fredwiggy replied to RolandRat's topic in General Topics
Before I ever thought about moving here, or visiting here, I heard that Thai wives were the most loyal and attentive. I learned that this isn't always the way, and western women can be just as good, as long as you find one that has (had) a good relationship with her parents, especially her father. This is one of the most important traits you can look for, as a father (a good one) will teach his daughter how to relate to other males by seeing how he treats his wife, her mom, and also how he treats his daughter(s). Asian women are known for being attentive, and i see that here, although some can be the loudest, screaming banshees you'll ever run across, and this is what I heard about years earlier also. -

What if you're good with money, treat women well, as equals, with love and respect, are a good, available father, have good self esteem, take very good care of yourself, don't cheat, abuse or neglect, and still end up in an unhappy relationship? Don't fret, I already know the answer. You picked the wrong woman to marry. This is what he's been saying. -

fredwiggy replied to RolandRat's topic in General Topics
We know of your attitudes towards marriage from personal experience. I myself have had a few that didn't work out, but men are simply better off settling down with a woman. Of course one they can trust. Bed companions don't allow one to get close with another human, which is the main reason we're here. The wrong person can jade you, and the right one can make you grow. I'll never give up until I can find that right one, and that's one who doesn't look at you just as money but a companion to grow old with. Money can't buy what a person really needs. -
Study Shows Young People Have Misconceptions About E-Cigarettes

The study involved those aged 6 to 30? Who lets any child smoke or vape? I did see a post where a toddler was smoking, so I know some morons do. -
If you work out and like to stay lean as I and some others do, you already probably know what you should eat. Thai food isn't fattening until they add sugar. You can cook with a lot less oil than many I see here do. MSG and garlic are fine, along with other spices. The problem here is if you get used to eating the amount of rice locals ingest, which is way past serving size and it's those carbs that do you in eventually. Most Thai cooking involves vegetables, which are all okay. Pork is used a lot more here than I'm used to back home in the states, where I only used it for deer sausage, but you can find lean pork here, along with the chicken and fish. Frying is done a lot here, and you know that's not healthy or lean eating as too much oil is used and allowed to soak into the food. Like others have said, Pad Krapow is good, along with Fish soup. If you go out to eat, you can ask the cook to use whatever you want, or not to add sugar, which isn't necessary most of the time anyway, as the spices give the food all the flavor you need.
