  1. Humans have eaten foods that were already here, as farming is a human thing while everything that's farmed today already was here in the wild. Keto-ish isn't bad, as you're still getting vitamins and other nutrients that meat alone doesn't have. I've been eating the same all my life, a variety of foods, little junk food, no fried anymore, vegetables, grains, fruits a, fish, meat, yogurt, nuts and seeds daily, going more and more towards the Mediterranean or blue zone diets.
  2. Along with grains, vegetables , Fruits and legumes. Can get by temporarily on those you listed, but unhealthy in the long run, besides all the false opinions you might have heard over the years.Again, looking at proof positive, those living in the blue zones, who live the longest in the best health.
  3. That McDonalds is popular is a given. That they have good burgers is false. None of those listed are good burger joints. The only chains that serve decent burgers are Red Robins, Smashburger, Fatburger, Fuddruckers, In and Out and Five Guys. There are countless others that aren't part of a chain that have the best.
  4. Most of the better pizzas I've had in the NYC metro area had chefs that either came from Italy or had relatives that did.
  5. Leos in Sisaket has good burgers. I see there's quite a few here that have a good reputation, and I'm guessing they're from the US and brought their skills from there, just like a few pizza joints. Haven't yet been to Chiang Mai but it's on the bucket list before I move back home.
  6. What restaurant, as chains aren't the best as far as burgers go. Everywhere you go you see obese people, so that's not worth mentioning. Hopefully you're not talking about McDonalds.
  7. I drink it because it's here, but it pales.
  8. When you can make a pizza with just basic ingredients and one topping and have it be excellent, that's a good pizza. 10 toppings disguises the pizza with too many flavors.
  9. If you're going to pick beer, at least choose Guinness Stout, Sapporo, Heineken, Samuel Adams or a number of others. Leo and Chang are on par with Budweiser or Miller.
  10. I used to live in New Jersey and worked in NYC. There are so many excellent pizza restaurants there it's hard to choose a best. When I visited there years back, while I was living in Texas, I went to a different restaurant every day for just a slice. All were top notch, some a tad better than others. The Pizza Company here doesn't compare. You need real Mozzarella cheese. And thin Italian sausage makes a great pie, along with fresh mushrooms and anchovies.
  11. Going to an American restaurant once hardly qualifies you to pass judgement. The US has thousands of restaurants with some of the best food available, as their chefs are from old school thinking from all countries. The difference between a good hamburger and an excellent one is who's preparing it, and the meat used, just as the difference between NYC/New Jersey/Italy pizza and The Pizza Company is night and day.
  12. Sweet potatoes, beans, lentils, chickpeas, eggs, yogurt, nuts, seeds, wine, coffee, fish, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, the healthiest diet anyone can follow.
  13. Looking at the stats nothing much has changed.
  14. The parents are, along with police who let underage drivers, without helmets, drive. Those above the police who don't have the police enforcing the rules. And this will continue for decades until those are fixed.,............I posted without looking at other posters replies, which mimic mine as we know what it takes to have safety for our children.
  15. Which isn't a bad idea as it teaches responsibility.
  16. That's not a contradiction. Your help voting him in because the other side was weak has nothing to do with hero worship, but believing his every word does. I didn't trust either side, and my vote wouldn't have made a difference because I saw what was coming.
  17. Disinfectants are not a treatment for Covid, but a preventive for surfaces. Not quite the same thing.
  18. I said the owner is partly at fault for leaving the keys in the ignition, creating temptation or an opportunity that wouldn't have been there otherwise. It's like flashing cash in a bar or leaving your car running when you go into a store. Partly the owner's fault.
  19. No, again, I'm not political, and see things how they are. I don't take sides, as both sides have problems. Anyone can see what's going on in the world around us, especially if you get more than Thai local news daily.
  20. Politicians cannot be trusted? Even though they voted him in, many don't really trust him. He was the better of two evils and the other side was too weak.
  21. Who's delusional? I see things how they are, and even though I don't like him and see exactly what kind of person he is, he's still in power, and there are people behind him where many of his ideas originate, and they are part of the decisions made. Yes, he's out there, but what can we do besides wait to see if he fails or succeeds?
  22. I'd like to see proof where the vaccine has killed anyone, definite proof, without them having morbidities that could have been the reason. If I see it, I'll believe it, but that still doesn't deny that millions have possibly been saved by having a vaccine. No one can really tell if they actually needed it or not, as Covid doesn't hurt the majority who are exposed to it anyway.
  23. Trump was asking the one beside him if they thought disinfectant would help, along with UV. This is what he's done all along, and then taking credit for it. No matter how much one loves this man, you can't believe everything he says as he's said some very ridiculous things over the years, which are very easy to research. Him talking, not other's opinions about him. I don't take sides, preferring to wait for hard evidence.
  24. I've seen no proof and only conjecture, some saying the vaccines are responsible for killing people. That people have died after getting a shot isn't proof, as they could have had something wrong with them already. Saying there are thousands of deaths from the vaccine is ludicrous, especially without proof. Who to believe. seeing much of news is opinions. People have proof right in front of them and they'll deny it if they don't like the writer or politician involved.
  25. I see they're laying off people they think are unnecessary, which will save money. It doesn't look like they're taking away anything people already receive, like Medicare or SS, Disability. Trust me, I don't trust them, but people are watching, although a narcissist really doesn't care much about others, Congress and others he works with do. He can remain the worst president we've ever had, or sink lower, or do something and climb out of the basement, and that takes time.
