Mystery Deepens: Missing British Man Boarded Flight from Thailand
True, but again, this one is known to keep in close contact with his, which means they're close, and probably not so nasty.

Mystery Deepens: Missing British Man Boarded Flight from Thailand
If you can change your face that fast you belong in the next Mission Impossible movie. Immigration does this all day, every day, and aren't stupid. Granted you might get one who's at the end of his shift, his wife is mad at him, or he lost 10,000 baht playing cards, but that's not going to happen a lot. Of all the times I've flown, in US, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Korea and Chinese airports, not once did they just glance and let me go. The only place that's a little easier is your own country, with mine, the US, it doesn't take so long for me, but I've watched many foreigners coming into the US and they aren't just passed by in 10 seconds.

You said you can sell your airline ticket to another and also your passport. Granted, there are people who can make a fake passport, although it's very hard, and still you cannot sell your ticket to another person and have them use it. I flew to Canada twice to hunt, and they kept me there at least 5 minutes both times looking at my passport, asking what I was going to do in Canada, and where I lived. Thailand has always looked at my passport picture, glancing at me a few times, to make sure it was me. Yes, there are people who look alike, but would they look like this person who's missing, eve if he sold his ticket to them, which wouldn't work unless the passport matched the ticket, meaning a fake one. Immigration knows people change hair color, lose weight, use or not use makeup, and have up to 10 years to make any changes, so they don't just glance at a passport and say go on. I've never seen it with myself, nor anyone in front of me on line. If you're in the departure area, you already went through immigration, and when you board, they usually also check your passport and boarding pass again.

Nasty lots usually aren't too concerned about a family member's whereabouts.

Because it's what immigration does everywhere I've traveled. Protocol is usually the same as far as travelers on airlines.

Anywhere I've flown, the officer checking passports always scrutinized the passport picture, looking at me to make sure I was the one on the passport. This includes the US where I'm from. As far as I know airline tickets are non transferable. You can change flights for yourself but not let another fly on your ticket.

I didn't say he was sold . I said many are sold, daily actually. Trafficking also involves drug runners. I don't need TV to keep up on what goes on in the world. News, TV news, yahoo news, word of mouth are ways one sees what's going on worldwide. TV is for movies and series.

They keep records of people who actually do border the plane of course, by checking in at showing your boarding pass. Where could he disappear from the plane to border control? They won't tell anyone besides the authorities any information about passengers, to safeguard their, and others flight.

He is the one who keeps in touch with his family frequently. This is why they are worried. Him getting on another flight besides the one where he's going home, as told to his girlfriend, is suspicious. Why to Finland? I don't assume things but it does sound fishy, and if it were my son, I would also wonder why he changed plans to a totally different country.

That's true, but they would have to ask in person or maybe from a police station who can verify details.

Well, some older children care about their parents, and keep in touch. Some much of the time because they are close.

Army Orders Mental Health Checks for Trainers After Chiang Mai Abuse Incident
What battlefield might that ever be? I know it needs a military to keep order with protestors, but the police can handle those. I know the problems with terrorism need to be kept in check in southern Thailand, so there is a need, but does it have to be so big, and have a need for warships, submarines and high tech aircraft. As far as the trainers, abuse never works in training, and only creates anger. Anger that can spill over into personal life.

Cheap houses in Japan
That's the point. No one knows the number, but it's many. I never waffle, babble, or blather.

Cheap houses in Japan
Yes, this I found that sums it up............ How Much Do 1-Euro Homes in Italy Actually Cost? While the initial price of these villas and apartments is indeed a steal when they’re sold online or at auction, you’ll notice when you read the fine print that buyers must commit to remodeling the properties and often have a deadline of one to three years to do so. Fees associated with closing the sale are usually in the $5,000 to $6,000 ballpark, and then remodel costs can run the gamut from about $25,000 if you have a construction background and buy a small apartment to $500,000 for bringing in contractors to completely gut and renovate larger spaces. “[The 1-euro homes] can involve significant investment, often amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars,” Barion says. “These houses are usually on the brink of collapse and suffer from structural issues. Remodeling in Italy is not for the faint of heart.”

Cheap houses in Japan
I saw just this weekend people getting on the train for work at rush hour there. They were trying to force their way on compartments that were already full. Two railroad helpers actually were pushing the people on to get the door closed. Not a place I would ever stay.

A big group originates in Issan, and most going to Pattaya are looking for the horizontal (vertical also). employment. Some go there invited by friends and work legitimate jobs, or want to meet a tourist for a possible future arrangement.

Ohhh. Assumptions, assumptions............

Cheap houses in Japan
They're in remote towns, so whoever buys will have to want to settle down there.

Cheap houses in Japan
I want to visit Italy, but I'll be moving back to the US. If you could buy a few and sell them it would be worth it, but I think they want you to live there so that's out.
-
Cheap houses in Japan
I saw a show on that also. They want people living in them, which means more local economy money. Better that than empty.

Land no, homes you can. Even if it's in your wife's name, it's yours also, and you can live there indefinitely. You move, leaving Thailand, it's hers. You sell it, you split the profit.

Polyphenols in my tea; And also other Tea Anomalies. YOU, too?
Equal amounts of tea in each glass? Both glasses clean? Was one in the fridge longer? Don't pour ice into hot tea immediately. Wait for it to cool first.
