A Thai professional is a lot more likely to want a Thai man than a farang. They prefer locals anyway. Some know a farang can give them a better life, but that's the ones that have kids by locals, were burned, and are trying farangs for a better chance of a future. Remember you originally said you were looking for a good woman to stay with. That leaves you a miniscule of options. Non greedy, attracted to you, you attracted to her, chemistry between you, independent, no kids, tattoos, etc. If you look at dating sites, and want a good girl, the options are reduced to less than 10%.

Some have learned English to better themselves and a chance at a higher paying job. Remember, tainted by locals happens here all day long, and the bitterness that comes from it.

They don't admit to having kids because most of them are home with grandma in Isaan. As far as thousands of Thai women over 25 that don't have kids, I really doubt it, although there are those that are smart and don't waste their time having sex with locals, who have a reputation of usually leaving afterwards, and that chose school and a career over wasting their time that way.

I understand someone's preference for a woman weighing under 50 kgs, but that's tiny unless she's pretty short. My preference is usually 120-128 lbs or so, 54 kgs to 58 kgs, and not short. Employed, definitely, less chance of a money grabber if more independent. Yes, that's all any of us can do now. Being on vacation , what he was doing, who he was doing anything with, what his future plans were, all are speculation. And there are people, that by chance from a crappy childhood, don't know how to raise children in a loving environment, and the kids then have to learn by themselves the ways of the world, and oftentimes fail. Then there is human garbage like this, who were blessed with many children, their own blood, and something in their sick minds told them to hurt, beat and kill these children. Parenting is hard for everyone, and some days you don't want your kids around because they drive you crazy, but you take a breather, walk away, then come back to your responsibilities. When people are suicidal, all it takes is a thought, and then it will happen. They can be driving down the road, listening to music they like, thinking of their girlfriend and how much she loves him, just having a great Thai lunch, then the next thought is, this life sucks, and will never get better, no matter what. What they don't realize at the time, is that was just another random negative thought, that it will pass, that an hour from now they might feel better, and look at things in a more positive way. Tomorrow can come if you allow it to. And tomorrow can be a great day. One thing about falling off the wagon, don't get on yourself about it. Just try and not drink so much consciously. Going cold turkey on any addiction is very hard. Weaning yourself off gradually can work, until it no longer is as attractive as it was before. Then you can either quit outright, or just become one of the occasional social drinkers like the rest of the over 1/3 population is.
