I never had to train my kids about that, and they never experienced any of it, nor did millions of other children. Australia seems to be pretty nice in some ways, and I would love to visit Cairns to catch a Marlin but more people die there from snake, shark, crocodile and spider bites than most other countries. They also don't have the quality of fresh water fishing and hunting the US has.

Yes, there are hypocrites everywhere, but referring to someone who posts nonsense in that way, claims to be smarter than most here, and posts outrageous things in that way just seems to fit. A Christian, meaning all, are imperfect humans who follow Christ. This means they are humans and like all others are capable of making mistakes and not acting Christian like some times. God doesn't expect us to be perfect robots. He expects us to follow him and do what we can to be good and not turn our backs on him, having faith he is the way, and to try to be better the next time. Yes, I know there are people from all faiths that act like they don't follow their religions, like here in Thailand, where they pray to a statue hoping for money and gold.

Yes, it's certain cities in some states which have ordinances, but no state completely bans them from what I can see. It might come if enough people back it, but in the US that's hard to do.

House in Texas had settling issues because of the soils there and extreme weather (rain a lot, no rain for months). My house here has cracks because the builder didn't wait long enough for the soil to settle (ground was raised to be above bordering rice fields), so it moves also, even with stabilizers put in before build.

There are specific reasons why some want this breed, and I'm sure a few here are curious as to why you do. Like I said, you really need to let the dog know who's boss, in a gentle, non abusive way, so it grows into a dog that won't attack others, and keeping it in the house is no guarantee because it can escape, and a dog that's not used to being around others, including children, and interacting in a gentle manner, might try to protect it's territory aggressively and cause damage.

We have a few trolls here that are only here to annoy or argue with others, and to bring up controversial subjects that lend to that outcome.

As I mentioned earlier, any dog can be dangerous. The facts are still there though. Pits do account for more attacks and deaths than other breeds, and this correlates with how many are trained. If there weren't any pits, the Shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Huskies and others would be the ones doing the attacks. If everyone who owned a Pit would train them to be gentle, we wouldn't have the stats we do now. People are the main problem, followed by the strength of the dog breeds. People have asked you, why do you want a Pit anyway? Are you going to train the dog to be a well mannered, non aggressive pet or another reason?
