  1. Why would hospital need my passport? They just need my name to issue the certificate. I was before staying at SHA+ hotel at Phuket and they didn't need any of these documents.
  2. I was asked for the same things by my hotel (passport, vaccination certificate, flight ticket, insurance). I am not comfortable sending my passport via e-mail as it is not secure and I don't see any reason why they would need this information. I am thinking what to do, I guess I will contact the hotel and ask why they need this information and what they want to do with it.
  3. I uploaded everything correctly and I am waiting for 6 days already without approval. Previously I uploaded the same documents for COE and it was approved within 2 days.
  4. Looks like this forum is slowly dying.. I will try to ask once more - can someone please post their experience with SHA+ hotel if the hotel also requested all the documents in advance via e-mail which are required for Thailand Pass application (passport, insurance, vaccination certificate, flight ticket)? Thanks a lot.
  5. Why is that needed? After booking my SHA+ hotel for 1-night stay they contacted me to provide these documents: Passport Vaccination certificate Flight ticket Proof of travel insurance It makes me super confused and angry. I provide all these documents for the Thailand Pass (except for flight ticket). Why should I provide them again for the hotel? Is this normal? Also I am not comfortable sending my passport via e-mail. Do you have similar experience?
  6. Unfortunately I don't have any advice for you but I would like to ask you if you can share your experience later on about getting non-ED visa for Muay Thai box. I am planning to get the non-ED myself sometimes and I haven't find many resources or personal experiences about getting non-ED for learning the Thai box. It will be much appreciated if you can share your experience later. ????
  7. I understand your point but I can come just for 35 days, or 40 days. In those cases I need a TR visa as well, but it does not make sense to book hotel for more days than I want to stay. In any way, it is quite bad system if I have to do it like this but it seems that there is no way around it. I completely agree with you. It is not possible to plan 60 days in advance. Sometimes I don't know where I want to go the next day. It would be nice if someone who got TR visa replied here if they really had such long hotel bookings (not STV because that is special category). But I guess I will just make a hotel booking for 31 nights and cancel it after I get the visa.
  8. Can someone who got TR visa let us know for how many nights did you have hotel booking? When I was applying in person at my local consulate I always had booking for just few nights (sometimes just 1 night) and it was approved without issue. I was reading somewhere that through e-Visa you need to have hotels booked for the most part of your trip (>30 nights) which would be insane. Can someone clarify this?
  9. I know someone who got approved Thailand Pass with just 3-day insurance. And honestly it doesn't make sense to have insurance valid for longer than your trip duration. Personally I would try it with Emirates insurance first if applying in advance with enough time before departure. Why to waste additional money when it is not needed.
  10. Yes, it was accepted for my COE. However, back then they required that the insurance must cover your entire entry stamp (30 days / 60 days / 90 days etc.) and the insurance from Emirates covers only until date of your departure. I've heard that this could be different with Thailand pass, but don't know that for sure. Note that you will have to request Proof of Insurance from the insurance company and the Emirates will stop the insurance for flight tickets purchased from December.
  11. Any chance that they mean negative Covid test which is required anyway before the flight?
  12. You can contact the hotel directly through Agoda portal. That's what I did when I needed confirmation for COE.
