Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump and the in-fighting at Fox News
Phoenix Rising replied to Scott's topic in World News
Fox News lied to you. "This puts Fox News viewers in a bind. Do they stick with their beloved right-wing network and continue to get played for suckers? Will they sit back and confirm Fox Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch’s obvious belief that they’re easy marks?" Maybe some of our resident MAGA fans can answer these questions? -
"like every single president, politician, stateman." No, that's not correct. trump lied more than any recorded politician in the history of the world. No one even comes close. trump’s false or misleading claims total 30,573 over 4 years "If somebody think trump's peace talk plans are bogus, that he won't stick to his election manifesto, why bother about him now?" Because he was the worst president the US has ever had and it's vitally important that he never gets to be in a position of power ever again, and preferably he'll be behind bars for the rest of his unnatural life. "it would be those who have elected him who will hold him accountable to braking his promises." Really?? Has the MAGA crowd held him responsible for his legion of broken promises? The answer is 'not at all'. "Support for war in the USA is drastically falling." 1. The US is not at war. 2. Do you have any links to back up your claims?

Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump and the in-fighting at Fox News

Well, since they're largely absent from the "schooling" threads I would say that they are. Am I feeling a bit bad? In no way, shape or form! -

I agree with everything you say except that I would have removed the word "almost". -

Anyone who still believes that the election was somehow "stolen" is a complete and utter moron. Case closed.- 27 replies

Well, to be fair I do think a lot of the wannabe coup makers/insurgents have mental issues, as do those who egged them on. That doesn't excuse their treachery though and they should be punished according to their extremely serious crimes, especially the one ultimately responsible. When you have the ultimate responsibility (as a C-in-C does) only the ultimate punishment fits the crime.

Not only humiliating but a severe breach of security since the footage shows in detail how rioters accessed the building and routes lawmakers used to flee to safety. And since Carlson seems fully prepared to sell his own spawn for a ratings bump it's only a matter of time before this is all over the internet. Strangely enough he doesn't seem to be a fan of trump though and this must really confuse the MAGA crowd! Tucker Carlson ‘passionately’ hates Trump, and eight more key revelations about Fox News from new Dominion filings

'Bulls---': GOP senators rebuke Tucker Carlson for downplaying Jan. 6 as 'mostly peaceful' "At a GOP leadership news conference, McConnell, R-Ky., said he wanted to align himself with the letter sent to the U.S. Capitol Police force by Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger, who denounced Carlson for spreading “offensive and misleading conclusions” about the insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021, including a “disturbing accusation” that Officer Brian Sicknick’s death had nothing to do with the riot. "I want to associate myself entirely with the opinion of the chief and the Capitol Police about what happened on Jan. 6," McConnell said as he held up a copy of the letter. "It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks.”"
