Peace talks? Russia brutally attacked Ukraine and have killed tens of thousands of its people. The only talks that should be held are regarding Russian retreat to behind it's borders, reparation payments and the imminent handover of Putin and other war criminals.

Well, to be fair I do think a lot of the wannabe coup makers/insurgents have mental issues, as do those who egged them on. That doesn't excuse their treachery though and they should be punished according to their extremely serious crimes, especially the one ultimately responsible. When you have the ultimate responsibility (as a C-in-C does) only the ultimate punishment fits the crime.
