  1. "They were after all, at one time, the most powerful man in the world so they must be accorded due respect." So with power comes automatic respect? Do you apply the same for Hitler and Stalin as well?
  2. Most of us believe the fact that literally dozens of Republican led investigations and dozens of court cases have produced ZERO evidence of widespread voter fraud. In the few cases they've found anything it more often than not went in trump's favor. And if you can't get that through your skull I suggest you have mental issues you need to get professional help to address......seriously.
  3. Looking at trending daily tweets I would say the chances are much greater on finding intelligent life on Mars, even after they kicked trump off the platform.
  4. I'm not posting an opinion, I'm answering your question. You're welcome.
  5. https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-wants-bring-light-inside-the-body-to-kill-coronavirus-2020-4
  6. Which also conclusively proved that Darwin's principles were spot on....
  7. Sigh, the "real science" has again turned out to be......wait for it......real. The UV light up the rear, guzzling hand sanitizer or eating Ivermectin has been proven not effective against Covid. All this has been touted as effective remedies among the ""prominent doctors and scientists" in the MAGA-verse so do us all a favour and don't compare Galileo Galilei with those idi "free thinkers".
  8. "Prominent doctors and scientists....." Prominent in the alternative reality you MAGA guys live in, not in the real world of real science.
  9. "Legally held views"?? There are no views you're not allowed to hold. It's expressing some of those views that might be illegal. Do try to keep up....
  10. But but but.....the BLM protests?! And and......what about Hunter Biden's laptop?!
  11. https://twitter.com/hugh_pemberton/status/1576202764090499072?t=8w1uEo9u_-rZwLpSkk7upQ&s=03 "Blimey, this letter to the FT from a former Treasury Minister under John Major doesn't pull any punches on the Truss /Kwarteng economic strategy."
  12. And here I though this was all about Russia's invasion of a peaceful neighboring country and not about what the USA might or might not have done for the last 50 years. Silly me!???? PS. Mods; you really need to change the title of the thread to reflect this astounding fact so eloquently pointed out by the poster Blazes (who in no way is obsessed with US foreign policy missteps to the degree he cannot bring himself to acknowledge that this is all on Putin - no way at all!)
  13. If that's supposed to be an excuse for the utter fallacy that was the Brexit vote then you failed miserably.
  14. You could have just stopped there and saved us wasting valuable time reading the utter drivel that forms the rest of your post.
  15. If that's what you believe the moral of the story is I can't help thinking you haven't got the foggiest about what morality means.
  16. Because it helps to mask the mind numbingly inane decision to leave the EU, the common market the UK had unlimited access to, with hundreds of millions of potential customers right on their doorstep. Don't know what was the worst decision ever made by an electorate in a Western democracy; Brexit or the election of trump (although to be fair he did get less votes than his rival). One thing is for sure, both outcomes have launched their respective countries on a markedly downward trajectory.
  17. I briefly perused it just to confirm it was utterly pointless. Meanwhile, here is a link you might find useful to follow before your impending re-entry: Buy Vaseline petroleum jelly on Amazon
  18. Quite, which will make your re-entry even more difficult and costly for you. But, of course, in the end everyone in the EU and the UK will benefit.
  19. Yes, Britain's economic outlook sure looks rosy in comparison!???? https://www.pwc.co.uk/services/economics/insights/uk-economic-outlook.html "Our model predicts the UK to enter a recession as early as this year." But hey, once those brilliant trade deals with Botswana, Nepal and.....uh, Guinea are signed things will turn around, I'm sure!
  20. Silly? No, unavoidable. Difficult? Oh yes, very very difficult. The French and others are gonna make every step as painful as possible and they'll enjoy every minute of it. But there will come a time in the near future where you'll realize that it's either rejoin or go bust so you'll just have to bend over and take your medicine. Enjoy????
  21. Think you confuse 'silly' with 'difficult'. Hopefully, in the next referendum, the UK electorate will make a more informed decision.
  22. That's true but running from jail will mean no more mass cult meetings and a host of other limitations.
