Thailand is not Fahrenheit where people consider 60's short sleave weather. Our bodies do adjust and if not a short term tourist from the cold lands most of us will be happy with much higher normal temps.

You must be a bus driver. 28 when go to bed and normally change to 29 after midnight. Sleep in PJ without cover. Have air directed away or over bed. New Daikin have .5 degree settings and appear to be very accurate at keeping same temp. I suspect more than a bit too small - and have also had a bit of rain when units running at full tilt so suspect larger unit will help.

You can't wash a carbon filter AFAIK. You can wash a pre-filter which both my Hatari and Sharp units have - just like an airconditioner filter it helps keep large particles from entry and blocking airflow.

I agree TCL appears very good value and have had good luck with older TV sets of that brand. Believe there used to be a lot of issues with inverter electronics but (hope) most have been resolved - but agree often better to buy new if major failure. -

It must be your air up there 🙂 - here in polluted Bangkok amazing clean white. But perhaps this is a newer unit and plastic has been improved as only 5 years old and you won't buy Daikin. -

Have had that brand also - did not last 10 years however - but they are considered a top brand. One thing I can say about a 5 year old Daikin is that the plastic is as white as the day bought - can not say that for any other brand we have had. Also Daikin seem to use the same mounting plate for different size air handlers so easy to replace if needed. -

Yes it is a split inverter system and considered by most to be the best brand for sale in Thailand. Installed the two units last week and working fine with no issues. Cost was 3k to remove old/install each new but long time ac worker and no extra costs. We know not cheapest install but trust worker as have used for several decades. -

Can to explain why? The HEPA filter in the air filter is not effected by your aircon and still removes tiny ppm2/5 dirt from the air. Most aircon remove only larger partials.

Some will - other will want the credit advise slips for bank in Thailand paying for Wise. Immigration is getting to be knowledgeable about such transfers as they become more common.

Yes it is why most of us use Bangkok Bank for this account payment. But as said credit advise slips can be obtained as well as Wise paperwork and this is normally accepted by immigration.

But you can obtain a credit advise slip from paying Thai bank to prove foreign origin.

Actually many have a built in monitor of some type. But portable meters are available and useful to get an idea of levels outside of purified area.

It was always 2 months prior (but several offices required 3 months - and for marriage it was suggested to keep in account during review process making it 3 months) - there was no requirement for money in account after extension was issued.

Guess you don't live in Thailand. Almost no private bank users have a checking account - what they have are passbook savings accounts.

Have had several Hatari over the years but had issues getting filters when they changed models and they are not cheap. But units worked well.

Have found Sharp units under 3k to be both very effective, high air flow, low noise and easy to obtain filters. And use 24 hours a day without issues.
