I have had success (or at least partial) 2 times since upgrade. First time standard delivery next day (Prime member) and no choice and did not see the next day part in the small area they now use for order information. Second time was afforded express but was later in day (and actually soon after order ready rather than one or two hours later - but perhaps that because nobody using) - tried today and normal delivery only option until about 1020 when express became available. Chose to not order. They best part of software was able to view "my list" which is now one frame of garbage. Delivery address is at top of page but still get pop up to confirm multi times. So far nothing better than before - still have check number ordered as often reverts to "1". Should point out I am in Bangkok. -

Bangkok Bank Debit Card Expired
lopburi3 replied to expat1010's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
As said - CC available with work permit (if you meet income requirements) - without work permit debit card or secured CC are the options. -
Actually both 3BB and DTAC names are still used - but they are effectively joint operations with AIS and True now. Here in Latphao have 3 AIS installation trucks on my Soi and they are labeled as AIS - 3BB. Do not believe that is generally an option due to Condo management rules.

1. In days long ago land office would not register land to Thai with foreign spouse due to marriage laws of joint property and the law that foreigners can not own land. 2. Many moons ago a provision was made to allow the Thai to buy land with their own money (foreign spouse signing paperwork to that effect) and a provision made to allow a foreign spouse obtaining land due to death/joint property provision to hold such land for up to one year (must be sold to Thai within that time). 3. So now Thai can buy/register land as long as foreign spouse signs such paperwork. But not sure all land offices are up to date on providing such service.

3BB is AIS and DTAC is True. Not a lot of competition. Condos may indeed have a set provider and as said final path may not be fiber. But believe for most people service is fine for needs. But something to check upfront before renting if speed is required. Another option is SIM card wifi modem.

I had no issue having US Embassy notarize a short statement of my address for opening a new bank account (after they stopped providing income letters). I did have to say use was for opening a bank account when requesting notarization. They are just validating your signature. But this was a few years ago now so things may have changed. They did not have a form to do this - I just wrote a short statement.

Opticians who do Prescriptions without purchase!
lopburi3 replied to scottiejohn's topic in Chiang Mai
As more optometrists become available in the workforce - but I received from government ophthalmologist working part time at a large Bangkok hospital two months ago without issue. Am sure any "eye hospital" doctor would provide (but if they have optometrist on staff may defer testing to them). -

Opticians should not be providing prescriptions period. They fit glasses. Optometrists can test and prescribe but are few and far between in Thailand as is a new profession. Ophthalmologists are full doctors and can provide surgery as well as testing. Here in Thailand I would advise going to where you do not want to go - a hospital - where most of these professionals work and can provide prescription without expectation of buying from them. That said some optometrists in private practice will provide such a service for a fee - I used one years ago on basis needed for US Drivers License renewal. -
Be sure to do as same thing happened to me yesterday for a Monday application and arriving at CW at 1124 got queue number 315 (processing 105). Got out at 1630 - no issue with normal TM47 and last reporting receipt and passport all that checked. Can think of no reason for rejection as have not even traveled in last decade and all information was copy of previous report using software copy icon.

Well I submitted online 26th for due 7 April (copy data from last report) and received rejection notice at 0916 this morning. No travel anywhere for years. Previous reports accepted online. Next extension in 4 months. Arrived CW at 1124 to get queue number 315 (currently serving 106). Submitted TM47 and last receipt/passport at 1615 and everything fine with no questions asked. Strange. FYI CW immigration building very busy, to include all food, 7 11 and such on floor below. They also have blocked part of Soi 7 normal access road so have to snake around West side to get to entrance.

But that is your experience - and I am sure many users of placebo drugs have the same feelings. Does not mean you are wrong but does not mean a published article reporting on controlled tests is wrong either. And no I have not tried CBD but had hope that a new option for pain was going to become available as go down the cancer trail.

My reading is you disabled anti virus protection and did not replace with something else so getting a notice to activate. Just letting you know something is wrong (as most people want protection). Am sure what you noticed with task manager was due nothing else needed processing - I would reactivate myself as it is kind of important to have protection - especially with older software version. And Windows actually does a good job at protection.
