  1. As said no effect if using the 3 banks listed - if not you just send 2 transfers (as I normally do anyhow). The 65k does not have to be in one transfer.
  2. This is Thailand specific. Wise has accounts at the three listed banks and makes payments to other banks in Thailand from those accounts. You can send any amount to BBL/SCB/K but to any other Thai Bank it must be below 50k for each transaction. What is not clear is if this is a general rule that Thai bank transfers must be less than 50k (which seems unlikely) or something special due to Wise systems of payment from local accounts not meeting paperwork requirements.
  3. This appears to be a domestic within Thailand regulation, but as Wise pays from domestic accounts they can not send to banks they do not have accounts with (the three exceptions listed) an amount over 50k.
  4. Really? You are not getting the same view I am getting. Two posts above:
  5. What type of tank are you using? The main thing is to keep sun out (not use cheap plastic tanks) to prevent fungus growth. If you use tank and pump from the bottom there should not be much residue but if just long term storage where everything settles down maybe not so great. But really not much you can do about dirt other than removing it (using every day so stays in water) or giving it a cleaning when you feel the need. On SS tanks this is normally easy with a drain hole in center of bottom. Expect for tanks that sit on ground best to pay someone to do.
  6. A quick look at review seems to indicate average laptop and likely not a first choice unless using other Huawei units - but if have other Huawei devices a very good choice as it mates easily. But do check on any warranty issues if buying in one country and using in another.
  7. Actually that should work for Bangkok Bank but there were recent issues so better to make sure the Bangkok Bank account is tagged by WISE to receive funds directly from their Bangkok Bank account in addition to selecting that reason.
  8. I had Chase card when in USA and after retired and moved here (29 years ago) had mail issues using checks for payment so changed to direct debit from another bank account and they advised to change address to my Thailand home. Has worked fine ever since.
  9. Rockets? That male gender plumbing with STI is a rocket?
  10. Will try removing CC data next time and see what happens. Expect that may open the options. Had used BBL banking years ago but then BBL seemed to be removed from the bank options (and back and gone again as I recall).
  11. Place order now results in automatic CC payment with no options or actions by me on web site. Perhaps if did not have CC on file would get such but do not with it in memory.
  12. Do you have Lazada wallet or something? I have no option other than credit/debit or COD offered.
  13. Really? That stopped for me years ago - only able to do on Shopee. Then changed to using US Credit Card for Lazada (which has my Thai address) and no problems using that method (last used today) so have not checked if they allow IBanking again. Will add not given any options as when hit buy on Lazada credit card seems to be automatic now.
  14. Quick check indicates that (3405) may not be an authorized import into Thailand. Would the 3400 fit? It is SSD and available on Lazada. As said you do not want HDD in a laptop.
  15. All too much - but does not make it any better. ???? It did cost them today as got seller name with Gmail search and then ordered from their site on Shopee.
  16. Indeed has been gone for awhile now - have had to use Gmail search on email to find several older orders (which does work well) - unbelievable a major platform would allow such to happen as many people use to place new orders.
  17. Actually it is but not as we would expect (front end) - must have hit tree when sliding on its side directly in front seat area.
  18. Suspect account is in wife name in that case as I had no issue adding my name only account to my previous internet joint account. Have you tried to add account online?
  19. It appears person was trying to avoid the ATM fee for using card by having a teller pay money. Some banks will do this - but many will not and tell you to use the ATM regardless - as contact not required to receive money can understand why branch did not want him inside.
  20. Perhaps it is a download of activity rather than being called "statement"? I do not have an account there but can not believe there is no method to keep track of account balance/activity. But can say there is a reason I do not have accounts there as found customer service not to be a priority at the several branch banks family used several decades ago. If really no way perhaps best she also opens a new account with a bank you can access online.
  21. If she is not a US citizen no FBAR requirement. If just small balance no requirement except for income tax. Perhaps they were blocking access to IP - so does she have family in Thailand that could download and send? Or are you now going to live in Thailand and this will not matter?
  22. You may or may not - have never had myself - Embassy letter is often used which can provide the same information - Yellow House book also can often be used. And it may not even be asked. The only sure thing is there is no sure thing.
  23. The aggregate value of all your foreign accounts. So if one peaks at 6k and another at at 2k and another at 2.2k you have to report them all. But as said very easy to do.
  24. Poster works for Bangkok Bank and will be able to help you - suggest you indeed PM him as he has offered his service. You do want a bank account living here.
