Have been using delivery service from website and never had that happen - so they indeed seem to be able to price items in that format. How many times have I seen customers drop item and replace in wrong position at store, or knock price tag off and replace in wrong position - that may account for many such sticker shocks.

YMMV is a very common disclaimer (used by auto industry for decades 'your millage may vary' after providing millage figure). It is almost never written out as almost all understand YMMV. In my experience Lazada delivery is most often next day - Shopee 2-3 days. It of course varies by seller but in general Lazada has been much faster (although until Shopee just removed iBanking payment option normally used them as PC software seems better and better search).

Although that often works better to also flag the account - the only downside is all transfers will have the 2PM receive time to that account once flagged. But as said you can get paperwork that will allow immigration to accept that transfer so will still be able to use for income proof. Just more work.

Some toilets would accept - other not. Many are now sold with a rubber washer seal but it is almost never used as local method is to make a good white cement seal to floor and using seal would likely not allow that (push up) without the screws that are normally set into plywood floors in other countries. What I have seen, shipped by Cotto, are not like what you show from HomePro however so suspect that is for specific toilets only.

It seems all your old toilet needed was a bit of cement under the base where it was leaking. Normal install here is white cement bottom edge of base to floor. As long as toilet is not subject to elephant pressures that should be all that is required. Drain seal is not normally used as that requires downward pressure (screws) to seal. So exact fit is not required as long as drains close.

Actually have no recent experience but wife use of Chula several decades ago scans, for those paying, were not that much less than private facilities due to the high cost of equipment (which they must replace often). Doctor fees much cheaper - scans - not so much.

That is a normal install and should not be hard for plumber to remove old unit if required and re-cement it or replacement unit. It is just white cement on top of normal floor tile or cement and is not hard to remove for those that do it. It is part of the normal remove/replace fee from HomePro.

I would hope so at that price. Normal HomePro price in Bangkok is 950 baht.

Actually EMS is normally quite fast and indeed they deliver all days of the week. Post Office has a new parcel delivery service and expect they also deliver all days. As for normal mail does not seem to be daily schedule anymore (not much mail these days).

That was a serious issue with CRT displays (ghost image) but almost never happens with modern LCD. His post says image is fade to gray - like many of us do in later years. It may be partly his eyesight (mine sure do not like normal display screen) as well as many other things - photo was just not in focus and screen did not appear to have anything on it.

Agree electronics are cheap but do not find the cost of labor in Thailand to be excessive. What is an issue is getting parts to repair equipment. And in this case would retire computer to be provided to repair shop (all in one unit). If any sensitive information on hard drive maybe not a good idea (without removing drive). But using an external monitor may not be an easy fix for OP and take up too much desk space. Perhaps consider a used laptop which can be used in an easy chair rather than buying new monitor. As normal there are various roads that can be taken. As really not able to see what is wrong it could be as simple as video controls on computer getting pushed during cleaning. So probably taking to a computer shop would be a good first step and they would be able to advise probable issue and cost to fix and likely would not cost much for that information.

Indeed that is what I used as a teenager - small fan but made for darkroom (blackout). AC window units I have used all leaked light and as for the air exchange - would not wish that on anyone - they attract all sorts of vermin excrements.

Window units have always been available here and were the normal install 50 years ago - but Thailand was one of the first in SEA to turn to split units and has never looked back - even the PI (where they import cheaply from USA) are using split systems for almost all new installs. In the USA, where only needed 3 or 4 months a year they still rule - but even in USA most people have been going central duct system where both heating and AC are required.

Actually was more of those that can pay do so. Recall 40 years ago our village published list of those paying as inducement without listing those not paying. It never works 100% but 80 is better than 50.

Noted after the fact you said "some". Mine has no such option.
