  1. That's the most unlogical and weird thing I ever heard as an argument to stop driving a bike in Thailand. Seems you have mental issues. Like you wouldn't see it in a car.
  2. Sounds like a bad idea, specially here or in Thailand in general.
  3. Had a lot of them until I got a snake in my house, they were all eaten.
  4. Quality of life you mean unhealthy cheap street food, poor water quality, poor air quality and zero development + soon a lot of breaking things as of zero maintenance? Aside from nature, oceans, corals etc also being destroyed for the most part. Wildlife too. Optimal cost of living? It's double from all the other options in costs.
  5. What do you mean with that, there is plenty of countries in the world. Vietnam just to be one nearby already.
  6. Thailand 12-15 years ago was the best option of all countries, with most infrastructure, easiest visa, low cost of living etc etc. That is no longer today, I am just still here only because i have a Thai family and child. But even that is now decided, she wants to leave too.
  7. Will be amazing exact in the middle of high season: people smoking legal on christmas, last day of the year, to then be arrested, fined at a court + deported on 1st jan '25? This together with the taxes, I guess all clears up fast around happy new year, will make my decision easy, to leave Thailand for Vietnam with my family. Already figured out the new school, housing, visa and more. It is all easier and better for people who actually contribute and employ. Smoking weed would also be the exact same as you can already do that here everywhere in Vietnam too. Same to buy good indoor. A fine, if it is not a bribe, legally by court on the first time, is only a 100 dollars anyway. And the only time that happened so far was when a French guy was growing hundreds of plants in his garden in Hanoi lol. I will laugh so so hard, if Vietnam decides to open medical shops, in 1-2 years from now, while Thailand fked up, again.
  8. Absolutely insane right, they just keep going on with their idiots plans and ideas... Like there is no tomorrow... Same as the plan for a new one that is far outside of CM, it would cause insane traffic jams and suddenly cost you another hour in a car + more taxi money, to get to the city, making it completely unattractive as it would take the same in a taxi to go to Phuket or somewhere else then. All this while the current airport in CM is fine. All these issues they talk about, with it being too small to handle the people, is complete BS. It is the incompetent workers and systems causing that. Even they have these new gates, they still not use them or have 1 staff per gate to do it for you, same as at ferries to Samui, just complete retarded. But the real secret here is that they plan these things already since 10 years, many speculate on the land in these areas since many years, and this for sure makes huge money to certain elite people. Same for the construction of these senseless ideas. I keep laughing at the fact that thais are always so proud on their country and people, and so xenophobic, while in reality, they all try to FK each other over, all day long. All this is money motivated, not motivated for sustainable economic growth, the people and the country.
  9. Maybe read again, I said if i wanted to, I could. And no that is not a computer crime, as long each reservation would be for someone who goes. And even then it would just be the abuse of such system and impossible to trace back. All I wanted to make clear to you is that it is possible. Secondly many agents do this abroad, hence it is so hard to get appointments in like Vientiene etc etc. The government has no interest in improving it, if they wanted to do that, they already had a fool proof and good working system to begin with. Using 2FA based on for example a phone SMS would already solve it for the most part.
  10. Meanwhile in Vietnam you just book a grab, and a motorbike taxi would cost you peanuts, to go anywhere. Even the infamous hawkers there are still half the price of a general one in Phuket or Pattaya etc. I'm pretty sure it has everything to do with many travellers now starting in Vietnam, to then visit Thailand, and simply not accepting it thus complaining more. I don't believe there is any increase, it always was a mess. Same reason most backpackers do a alcohol break once getting in TH, it was way cheaper in VN and they already drank too much there = most bars empty.
  11. That's kind of classic for Chinese produced stuff in recent years, if it is connected to the internet or IOT etc, they have dozens of brands, sometimes a few, but they all work on the same software framework as well they produce in the same areas.
  12. Dislike it as much you guys want, im confident it will happen, as most of you recognize yourself in it. It is the truth; like it or not. Every old guy player I know, knows this.
  13. Ehh biden already sold us out, by involving us in this, and making every European 200 dollars net a month poorer. Ignorant freaking american.
  14. It's always a lady, and it's always in Bangkok.... Just forget about it, I know, it's hard, but do, and do same as you did. She likely never had a proper guy ever, in her life anyway.
  15. Of course; the majority of your people married way too young (bar) girls, behave like apes and spend basically zero. No wonder there is a negative sentiment. Maybe that's why I and friends rarely have issues too; we are younger. We don't have that stigma, as long showing we have money. Thais could miss the revenue from the old guys are a teeth that hurts and needs to be removed. Your nothing on the 500 billion USD GDP. They would value the social value etc, but that lacks just as much with old guys, they are actually usually grumpy or self isolated. It's a nasty thing in their history, they want to erase and forget about. Just as much as Vietnamese want to forget their history.
  16. Please, you couldn't get a 4 tonner get going on a sandy road in a Dutch training area.
  17. No, that is the saying for losers in the world. That is the people who believe money is scarce too, save up for a rainy day + are <deleted> and poor even retired. I don't play that game, sorry, I had better, that's why I lived here since I was a teenager, 18. There is infinite money available, 24/7, same as it needs to be spend, those who don't, lose out without knowing + do a <deleted>ty job likely.
  18. Well sadly, that is the garbage they serve you, even if chargin you up to 200 a glass, in Thailand.
  19. That is no issue for my skill level of programming lol, I could essentially fk them if i wanted too + book all every day. Then none of you would ever get an appointment again lol. I'm not joking here.
  20. You landed at Don Muang didn't you? If not, regardless, it is just super random and play Thai style + continue as usual. I had 2 recent 14 day overstays, just to <deleted> them, they smiled when I paid and left each time, including on my 30 day returns, ever since covid. I don't even take them serious anymore.
  21. You clearly did not google once ''coworking office hua hin''.. Topic closed.
  22. Maybe I should make something where you fill in your details upfront and a desired date, then it checks it + books it at midnight every day >< Would be like < 1 hour work to make.
  23. We already found the most likely answer in this topic earlier, but many who reply seem to not have read it. The italian wines would be correct as that would be northern hemisphere. 700 per bottle sounds realistic too, as restaurant usually double that making it a 280 baht a glass wine. That is 10 baht less than I pay at the restaurant I never get a headache from too.
