More than 50 officers led by Major General Nantawut Suwanlaong, Acting head of the Chonburi Provincial Police randomly inspected entertainment venues in Pattaya to check for the current seven major rules which are: 1. No allowing underage users below 20 to enter bar and entertainment venues. 2. No selling alcohol to underage users below 20 in any venues including restaurants. 3. Entertainment venues must be shut and all customers gone by legal closing times, currently between midnight to 2AM depending on zone. 4. Selling alcohol over the legal time is prohibited at all venues. 5. Allowing weapons and illegal drugs into entertainment venues is prohibited 6. Allowing human trafficking in entertainment venues is prohibited. 6 Allowing illegal gambling in any venue is prohibited. Major General Nantawut told the Pattaya News that they first inspected ‘New Season’ on Pattaya Third Road where lots of Thais and foreigners were drinking. Some of the foreigners were unable to present their passports and they were taken to the Pattaya Police Station for questioning. Ms. Pacharida Surapinit, 20, a staffer at the THC cannabis shop on Pattaya Third Road in Central Pattaya, told the Pattaya News about the incident yesterday, November 19th, 2022. At around midnight on November 18th there were two apparent male teenagers who came into a pharmacy shop next to the cannabis shop. They spent some time wandering the shop but did not purchase anything. One of the suspects sat at a motorbike in front of the cannabis shop. By Adam Judd Pattaya-A 33-year-old Russian man reportedly on holiday with his Russian girlfriend plunged to his death from the eighth floor of a popular Pattaya hotel this afternoon in front of many shocked staff and tourists, landing in the crowded lobby. The incident happened at around 5:00 P.M. at a hotel on Pratumnak Soi 5, whose exact name has been withheld pending a further investigation by Pattaya Police. The incident was personally responded to by Pattaya Police Chief Kunlachart Kunlachai and his team. Upon arrival they found the young Russian man lying heavily injured but alive in the lobby. He had suffered multiple broken bones and other severe injuries. His name has been withheld pending contact of his embassy and family. Sawang Boriboon rescue teams quickly arrived and transported the critically injured Russian man to a local hospital. Tragically, he passed away shortly after arriving. He added on Dec. 13, 2020 he received a letter that officials would be coming in to measure the boundary line.
