    Sorry if I say that but It's not really respectful to be treated that way by this Thai immigration. If it had happened to me I would never come back in their country again. They should thank those who go to Thailand and give money to their people, rent, food, Thai wife's/womens and much more. As I always say, is nice to go there only for a few months

    To me this tax thing is irrelevant as I only stay in Thailand less than 6 months. I won't give my money to a country that isn't mine

    A friend of mine left Thailand (bangkok airport) without exit stamp on passport by the immigration officer, as passport control was done automatically by passport control machine that checked the passport electronically and took photo of my friend, then the gate was opened It's the first time that happens to him. Every time he left Thailand he always get an exit stamp by the immigration officer. It's this new thing normal? 😄

    I'm talking about to making a border run from thailand to laos, to get a new exempt stamp, that means that people have already been in thailand. What it doesn't make sense? Thai immigration ask to see tm30 or proof of accommodation when you return to the country. A friend of mine was asked to show a tm30 and onward flight out of thailand within 60 days

    because thai immigration at the chiang khong border asked for it before, it was also reported on the border run websites

    Now It is again only 1 day trip and only have to show passport to re-enter to Thailand, no more tm30 and onward flight requested at Chiang Khong border

    He just told me he will do a new tm30 when he will go back to the same hotel... He asked that to the receptionist and no problem at all. Thank you for the answers by the way

    A friend of mine is staying in a hotel, he has booked for one month but he needs to go to another hotel just for one night. Does it have to ask the receptionist to do tm30 again when he will go back to the first hotel that he has booked for one month?

    Just one more question. Do I have to go to report my tm30 to the immigration within 24 hour? As my landlord will only register a TM 30 for me on Saturday and immigration is closed on weekends

    Sorry if I go off-topic but I prefer not to open a new topic again. I would like to know if the tax rule after 6 months still apply or not every time I leave the country by land or by plane and then return If for example I stay in Thailand for 3 months and then I do a border run and then come back, does the 6 months rule taxation still valid or only if you stay here for 6 months without never exit from the country?
