  1. What monitor do you have? I have my Mac Mini connected by HDMI cable to a Samsung M8 monitor. Great picture, and everything works as it should. Sound quality so so - but that is from the monitor. If I connect sound to a decent blue tooth speaker it is better.
  2. OMG. more drivel! I am a veterinarian, and have first hand experience of the benefits of vaccination programs in many animal species. To say that vaccination of ruminants against Clostridial diseases is farcical. You vaccinate, you get no deaths, don't vaccinate - up to 20% herd loss. Of course, the sheep and cows can't tell you about their chronic fatigue or autism that developed after they were vaccinated. lol!
  3. Good to see that you use your 'knowledge' to confirm your beliefs. Prompt, rigorous treatment of injuries WILL help to prevent tetanus. This is because the Clostridium tetani spores will only become active in an anaerobic environment. Opening and cleaning the wound creates an aerobic environment where the bacteria can not survive. The classic wound that results in a tetanus infection is a deep puncture wound in areas of the body with reduced or little vascularity, hence lower oxygenation to the tissues. I would be happy to educate you on how tetanus 'works', and also why vaccination is protective - but I feel that dealing with a person with such a closed mind is a waste of time. As my Dad used to say - "You can't argue with a sick mind"
  4. You antivaxxers make me laugh. Keep on pushing that trolley. Questionable studies, referral to 'experts', misleading statistics seems to be your modus operandi. I particularly love the one about viruses not being real. Keep up the good work - these threads, though somewhat frustrating - are always good for a chuckle.
  5. Did you bring your mop to protect yourself?
  6. Was Yogurt afraid of drowning in a torrent of sea men? I do not understand how a homeless man pleasuring himself would make her feel 'unsafe'. If she was truly concerned, she could just move away, rather than staying to record the proceedings! I am not condoning his actions - but this does seem to be more of an attention grab by the 'victim'.
  7. My Krungsri account has required facial recognition for transfers greater than 50,000 for over a year now. As others have said - it is a PITA. I hate looking (more) like a fool nodding and blinking at my phone - so multiple under 50k transfers is my preferred option. They have not changed my daily limits. Kasikorn - OMG! - I opened an account with them at the time that Wise transfers could only be 50K to Krungsri (now it is back to 1.5mill). They have notified me of multiple daily limit changes, and I also had to set up facial recognition with them. I tried online to increase my transaction amount limit - no can do. I went to my branch and spoke to the bank manager - who told me 'no can do for non-Thai' . Not sure if this is actually true - i am suspecting it is horse manure - just a bit too difficuIt . The only benefit of the K Bank account is that it is very easy to pay PEA. I will slowly drain the account paying my electricity for the next 5 years or so!
  8. The Koels are loud and annoying at times at our place - both day and night. The sound of the “bouncing ball” Nightjars early in the night can get a bit tedious. The Coppersmith Barbet sounds good to me - maybe because they are uncommon in our area. I LOVE the sound of Hoopoes in the morning. (Not the smell of napalm) ,
  9. The only time I have had food poisoning here was at a Thai BBQ restaurant. It was totally my fault. Somewhat drunk, I mixed up my cooked and uncooked squid. That will do it for you!
  10. Hopefully he will remain calm , and keep his hair on. Difficult though, after being scalped like this.
  11. Great musician - I loved his gravelly voice.
  12. Yes. - I bought some wine at Tops in Kanchanaburi at 3pm today.
  13. Yes - the last few weeks have been quite cool, and we had rains until mid November. Now we will have no rain until April or May, and the temperatures will ramp up from mid Jan. A few years ago we had a spell from Jan to late March where every day was above 38. Too bloody hot!
  14. Just out of Kanchanaburi - a chilly 22’ as we speak - should hit about 30 today. Perfect temperatures!! Not too hot - so can get a bit of work done around the farm.
  15. A lot less than before. So many rubbish threads from the usual suspects. The place has gone downhill a lot over the last few years. sorry if I am offending the admins.. truth hurts,

What a demolition by Head! The Poms will need to do a bit of soul-searching after this loss. Effectively 100 in the lead with 9 wickets in hand - then 5 hours later - all over roverl
  17. It looks like a decomposing Huntsman Spider. They are not considered dangerous, but could give a painful bite. They are defensive rather than aggressive, and will run away and hide rather than confront you.

Aussie tragic here... The Poms bowling on day 1 was fantastic... sets us up for a good close (i hope) series
  19. mmmm. women have them , the op is one ?
  20. You must be very thirsty then. Are you a camel? 🐫 I do agree with you though..
  21. These are xrays of healed fractures - they will have nothing to do with any recent accident.
  22. No doubt that is on the 'to-do' list. Along with cheek pieces and a brazilian butt lift....
