  1. We have AC on 26 all night - though sometimes turn it off if I get too cold. Ceiling fan on as well - but took a long time to convince wife that it won't fall down and mince us. I hope i'm not wrong...
  2. I am surprised there aren't more of these whorefish in Thailand. Oh sorry , I misread that...
  3. Never had one! At 6'4" and 90-95kg I have managed to bluff my way through life! (so far)
  4. It must be that bulge in your trousers... A fat wallet is sure to attract interest from the ladies. lol
  5. Funfact! Male snakes have a pair of penises - called hemipenes. I have had to amputate several from snakes subjected to trauma. They can still 'do the job' with just one.
  6. I have had reading glasses , and prescription driving glasses made for me by the top shop which you are referring to. They do their eye testing in store , check my prescription , check against my older glasses - and the finished product - it is always okay - but not quite as good as the pair they were replacing. A lens fell out of one pair after 2 days! They did fix that, but it was a 1 week turnaround.. My eyesight has not deteriorated, I just needed to replace glasses because they were scratched or damaged. I no longer go to the Top shop. I have bought better and Much cheaper glasses from Zenni.
  7. these day I prefer a shaved one - not like the old days, when the hairs on her dicky-di-do hung down to her knees...
  8. Sh#tloads of them around here in Kanchanaburi. You need to get out a bit more.... No. on second thoughts .... stay where you are please
  9. low 90s - same as before. I eat similar amount, drink more(!), but exercise a lot more in my gym - so that helps me maintain my status quo.
  10. Yep , I am happy - and so are they Accidents don't happen in vans? - ( and btw - would need a bus...) When in Rome...
  11. Can’t say for certain in Bangkok - but in Kanchanaburi many people are carried around on the back of utes and trucks - as many as a dozen in the back of a Revo!. I regularly carry children (my extended family, not randoms!!) on the back of my ranger. A few weeks ago I had 4 family members on the back for a day trip from Kanchanaburi to HuaHin. See many police - but never had an issue. Where the BIB will hassle you is if you carry people on the back on toll roads or ‘freeways’.
  12. have you considered having the car wrapped?
  13. clickbait speculation are there facts or quotes to back up this 'noted political scientist'?
  14. I am a car tragic, with an unhealthy passion for performance vehicles and have had way too many V8s! (mainly unhealthy for my bank balance) I have little knowledge of EVs, and have looked scornfully at offerings such as the Mini Electric - with its ridiculous short range. I looked at the BYD seal a few weeks ago - and I can honestly say that if I was in the market for a new car now, I would snap one of these up! Cars are ridiculously expensive in Thailand - so the apparent quality of the Seal, with its decent range and high level of spec make it a decent option here in LOS. It's a resounding Yes from me...
  15. my favourite loud and getting in to it song
  16. In Australia the aim of Road Safety personnel & decision makers is Zero Fatalities. Here , the aim is to try to reduce the death rate to 12 per 100,000 population. I wonder if Anutin, or the police/ traffic police are happy for themselves or members of their families to be part of the 12/100,000 that they are prepared to lose?
  17. They are NOT 6 month old puppies. The female has mammary development and large teats, so she has most likely had a litter. The male has <deleted> nearly as big as mine!!- so again , he is not 6 months!
  18. Is it pistols at dawn? - or banjos on the front porch?
  19. If tourists (from any country) based their decisions on where to holiday from information from drama films and series - nobody would travel anywhere! It is ridiculous to assume that this film is solely responsible for keeping the Chinese hordes at bay. How dumb are these people? (rhetorical question). In case I am incorrect I suggest 'No More Bets' be screened at least once a month on the Chinese National Broadcaster to maintain the status quo
  20. Interesting to read this information. I think that I have just become very cynical (as opposed to clinical!) In Australia, I vaccinated animals every day for over 35 years. All dogs were vaccinated against Distemper, despite the fact that the only case I ever saw was a dog with Old Dog Encepalitis in the UK in 1986! My justification for vaccine recommendation was more to emphasise the need for annual health checks moreso than the health benefits of the vaccine itself. I was running a business - and needed bums on seats! Edit: I have never seen a case of Feline Panleukopaenia! Australia/US/UK or here
  21. A temporary vaccine can be given after 6 weeks. 'Permanent' shot at 12 weeks or more. Annual boosters are suggested. Most vets will give a combine FEV & cat flu shot , which will require a flu booster 4 weeks after the initial shot. As a retired vet, I have become a bit slack here in Thailand. (Maybe because I am paying for it now 555) My cat had primary vaccinations as a kitten - nothing since. My dogs had primary Distemper, hepatitis,Parvo & Canine Cough shots, as well as Rabies vaccines. They have had nothing since. (2 years now). There are so many street dogs and cats around here, which would have had no vaccinations - and none of them get sick!!! External parasites - ticks & fleas are the main issue here.
  22. I would suggest that if she has time for the ticket to be reissued with the correct spelling - do it now. I had some dramas in Seoul recently when my name was misspelt on my boarding pass - definitely not worth the hassle! It is their mistake - get them to fix it.
