Come on man Thailand has many nice things about it.. The Bad... Treating expats like children regarding visas can almost be ignored... And giving expats zilch but not asking for taxes was pretty fair in my book... But to even suggest non working retired expats pay any taxes for nothing, is obscene ....Even docile expats have their limits for being drawn into this absolutely corrupt rubbish tax..

If Hot meals was having website problems why not say so on their facebook page? Each day that goes by with silence increases the odds of them being out of business.....With one more week of silence I say the odds would be very high of a closure....Which would be a real shame....

So whats the master plan here? To make retired expats spend the last years of their life bogged down in a confusing murky tax hell until they are dead? And to add salt to the wound give them absolutely zero benefits....While at the same time letting the vast majority of the Thais continue to not pay any taxes especially the very very rich who have their money protected in offshore accounts..

Dont knock knock-offs, some of them are pretty good and way cheaper.....Just use your head when buying... Knock offs are good as long as they dont blatantly claim to be a original...

Sound like to me like a whole lot of Red tape to bog down the whole online shopping world... After many hundreds of online orders on Lazada and Shopee I have had almost zero problems....The system works pretty good as is to resolve problems..

About the time I am staring in a blockbuster Hollywood movie with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise will be when the Chinese get concerned about paying any income tax to Thailand... And at 60 years old with zero acting credits, I would say my odds of staring in a big Hollywood movie are zero..... I think the odds of the Chinese giving the slightest fig or paying any taxes to Thailand is also very very close to Zero....Watch and see.....And you can include the Russians too....

Having to pay money up front to work is a classic scam...If this was on the up and up the employer should be happy to pay upfront cost....

Folks I will tell you what the real problem is... Thailand needs to look up the meaning of the word retirement in the dictionary... Withdrawal from one's occupation or position, especially upon reaching a certain age. b. The age at which one withdraws from work and lives off their savings and or a pension.... EXP... I'm looking forward to having and living a peaceful retirement in the last years of my life.... Thailand changing visa requirements at the drop of a hat as they love to do .....Is very far from adding peace to expats retirement... After you retire you only have so many years left on this Earth.....And Thailand seems determined to make sure retired expats last years are in a state of visa chaos.... Not to mention how wrong it is to even suggest trying extract tax money from retired non working folks , most who live off fixed incomes.... Thailand a retirement destination ???
