Everybodys money stuation is different....The money comes from loads of different countries...That all have different taxing structures.... There is no way on Gods green earth they have any hope in a million years of sorting through the mess to figure out what money flows should or should not be taxed.. It just will NEVER NEVER happen.......Unless there is a hard tax on all incoming money with no exceptions including a lets say 25% tax on ATMs....

You can bet your last baht the very rich will not be paying this tax one way or another......And the poor will not be paying this tax......But they for sure want the people in the middle paying.......As usual...

Is it really relaxing to spend some time on the beach at night if the beach is lit up as it was daylight? Same goes for the beach walkway...... They seem to have zero money for seatting, flowers,trees or art.... But they seem to have unlimited money for, lighting, 5G , CCTV cameras, elecronic signs...ect..

It seems the beach instead of a place for people to sit down relax in the shade and watch the world go by and get a bit of exercise... The beach road is now.... A 5G Smart City Project..... Can anyone read this beach sign? Here is some of the old lighting.....Its a soft lighting and not too invasive.... Here is the new lighting......Nothing soft about these lights....These lights are blasting an industrial harsh quality of light all over the beach......The beach is lit up like day time... No flash They are putting these flood lights in the Palm Trees to light things up even more....This is a work in progress but there could be 100s and 100s of these lights in Palm Trees..... If all the other lighting was not enough....They are also installing LOADs of these street lights on the beach.....

The overhead expenses are what killed the Pattaya to Hua Hin run..... Even if the boat is not operating ,all the employees still must be paid....Also docking fees and maintenance etc..... They had loads of EEC money behind them and even blessings from Prayut, and they still bit the big one...

Well in the West food delivery is very expensive.. In Thailand food delivery is very cheap... What food delivery is like in the USA... Me and my gf tried to order shake shack using a app the other night, 2 burgers, fries and 2 drinks and the chicken bites was almost $60 with tip and tax and delivery fees, I tried it once, and immediately felt uncomfortable paying $50 for $20 worth of food available 6 minutes away. How does anyone do that more than once?

Minimum wage went way up in California....And now it cost like 2,000 dollars a month to rent a apartment......So the workers are even more poor with the raise...

I think there have been 3 tries now to make a Pattaya to Hua Hin boat service work....They all failed.....

Yes I agree this is all in the works but it really goes further than this.... Their dream is to force most people to depend on public transit and only alowing the very rich to own cars......The poor folks can all use self driving uber taxis.... They love EVs because of their limited range and long charging limes...And high cost.. Their nightmare would be a cheap car that refuled fast and could drive for 500 -1000 miles for just a few dollars and lasted for many decades.....

Its very rude to the driver to use a card....No telling how long they must wait to be paid.... Things run on cold hard cash in Thailand....You should ALWAYS CARRY CASH to pay for things...

What about retired expats.....We need free money too......We should get 10,000 every month because we keep many Thais employed working in Beer Bars..

If you look for the vochers or discounts very often they will give you 20-30-40 baht off the order so the tip ends up being free...
