I have been poo pooing the idea the retirement age could be raised to 60...But if you think about it, this would create instant customers for the elite.....But for this to work they could not have any grandfathering..... I would hate to see this.....But no telling what they might do not to lose face..

One thing I have learned over the years in Thailand is they love love love to set unrealistic fast completion dates to costruction projects..... I have lost count how many times they have promised 2nd road will really really be finished by so and so date...This has been going on for years.... 100% guaranteed the new dates will be missed too..

I found a bunch of people I knew decades ago on the internet......But after I found them I realized I had nothing to say....lol The one guy I really wanted to talk to, had moved and changed his phone number dozens of times....So I hit a dead end there...

Well tomorrow you can finally get a one year retirement visa...

These peope absolutely despise trees.... (except for their beloved Palm trees of course) They cut down the majority of the lovely trees on beach road in 2013 to make a extra lane that was never needed... And on the very first day of work on the new promenade repaving (2 years ago).....They got out the chainsaws and tried their best to cut every last remaining tree on beach road.....Only a huge citizens protest saved a small number of trees from being cut.... Protecting the Walking Street tree?......Thats a good laugh..... And well they care about that Walking Street tree...... But unfortunately it had to be cut.... They did not want to cut it......But well they had to............ Trust me folks--This is the future.... They would not even be talking about that tree unless they already had plans to cut it down..

If they wanted to raise prices 20% 30% ok , fair enough but to raise the 20 year by 400% ?? These people have gone mad......I mean like "One who flew over the Cuckoo's nest" nuts...... Can you imagine buying a Starbucks coffee for 130 baht one day, and the next day the same coffee cost 650 baht.....lol.........Even the hardcore Starbucks sheeple would give Starbucks the middle finger..... Maybe these are not the real prices.....Maybe they are just sending out a few trial balloons to test the response...

For most things if you buy more of some thing you get it at a cheaper price per unit..... The above pricing turns value on its head.... Where if you buy less you get better value??
