Dec 15th used an agent and converted the visa exempt to a NON O and 1 year extension had a bank account 90 day report not needed in Phuket Unless your in Pattaya where its 27,000 and 12,500 ????

all depends on ur lifestyle: I live in Kamala, been here mostly since 96, Beach 1 kms from the house, shopping, bars, restaurants & markets If i desire the food malls of central, 30 minutes away, nightlife of Patong (never) 15 minutes I'd much rather live as close to the beach as i can and travel if i need.

Work Permits for Laos Citizens
zzzzz replied to bbi1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
FriendlyFarang Have u ever gotten someone a L-A visa? I have did u even bother to read my post above? Not true< an induvial ( thai or Farang) can "hire" a migrant to work as a maid, nanny, gardener< they must first obtain a "quota" from the labor dept than submit paperwork to get the NON L-A visa one reason why most use agents as they have the expertise. My agent fees: L-A visa 3,700 WP 6,500 -
Never has been insurance for a non O

Work Permits for Laos Citizens
zzzzz replied to bbi1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Laos, Cambodian & Burmese can apply for a Migrant Non L-A visa> they need an employer( who submits all the paperwork) and the cost via an agent, (one i use in Phuket) is 10,200 baht/year includes WP and Health card same as a thai. I just had this done for my Khmer GF in Phuket FYI: you can convert in Thailand from a tourist visa needs do 90 day reports same as everyone on a Non o or B visa Pre covid it was 10,200 for 2 years -
Yep, My non o was issued dec 26th extension issued dec 28th re entry issued dec 28th valid till March 24th 2024 gotta love those agents ????
-
???? i'll stick with my Non O and 1 year extension for 1,900 and no insurance!!
-
you convert to a non O visa, ( valid 90 days)< you than apply for a 1 year Extension (valid 1 year) so you get close to 15 months> if you get a multiple re entry permit ( 3,800) you can leave as often as you like
-
even patong is within 30 minutes from Phuket town there many many gated communities off of Chao fa road heading to Chalong
-
For Phuket AND a POA ( power of attorney) signed and with 2 5 baht official stamps, sold at immigration. so best check with immigration where you are
