zzzzz replied to FARANG KIWI's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
NOT TRUE: you can pay in thai baht but they will ask for 1,500 baht why would anyone pay extra for a Cambodian evisa? Pre covid 300 baht was the price if only doing a turn around there better, enter, go to the casino and have lunch than return to thailand what border checkpoints are generally considered to be the friendly/easy ones? Pong Nam Ron/ Pailin Surin/Osmach -

zzzzz replied to spambot's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Wang Prachun crossing ( Satun) is a very easy crossing, both immigrations are done staying in ur car< Its a great ride down as well an the weekend markets are good. You do need ur own transport, started using it as got tried of always having to remove tint from my front windows on entering Malaysia ???? from Sadao from Samui stay on the east coast For a extra trip head down to Betong as the drive from Yalla to there is fantastic and cross there, Betong is the entertainment capital of Southern thailand -

in Phuket, if u have the cash in the bank, most agents seem to charge 10,000 to do the work for ya no money its up to 16,000 pop over to Cambodia, get the Business visa on arrival ( $35 ) and open a 1 year account , interest, depending, on bank is 6-7% pays for the agent -
rent a car, (1,000- 1, 500 baht) gas apx 1,000 baht, Cambodian visa $30, (1, 500 baht if u pay in Baht) Pong Nam Ron border crossing, there an back in around 8 hours with stops ( apx 450 kms) you do the math if you can split it with one other.......

Hotels CAN NOT offer a lower price online than the price that you get on any booking site> it is in violation of their agreement. if they did they would be kicked OFF the booking site sometimes, not often, you can get a better rate booking direct. Many times people find that they walk in, get a price which is higher than agoda lets say an ask to get that price and are refused, so you use the hotels wifi and book via agoda an all is good ????
