Hey, used to be kamala was the most remote to phuket town, now with the road between Patong an Kathu closed, its Patong LOL no big deal, Phuket has come back from much worse, i'd say by mid dec it will be all fixed an now they will push the tunnel to be made quicker From the airport many taxi's use the road down the west coast anyway

90 day reports are due at the office ur extension is issued, accepted 15 days before up to 7 days late> ONLINE reports accepted up to the date due NOT after, usually , before it was between 15 days to 7 days before Its a 2,000 baht fine (1,000 if no receipt) for not doing one

ok; now ur confusing matters as before u mentioned on another thread that the 1 year does not need proof the baht came from abroad an now>> SO to clarify if u get a 90 day non o aboard you only show you have 800,000 in ANY currency than when you apply for the 1 year extension in Thailand you need proof the baht came from abroad BUT if u apply for the 90 day non O (convert from a tourist or visa exempt entry) IN thailand you need proof the money came from abroad, BUT than the extension you dont need proof anything Correct Now?

are u 100% positive if its ur first extension? the first 800,000 for the visa can be from anywhere, but i have been led to believe for the extension it must come from outside

as above: NOTE: if u arrive on a 45 day visa exempt AND have 800,000 baht in the bank you can get the conversion to a 90 day Non Ofor 1,900 baht As far as I know: than to get the 1 year you need show the same 800,000 baht came from OUTSIDE thailand and has been in the bank 2 months, extension is 1,900 baht If you cant meet the requirements you need an agent to assist you

Wow, i for one am amazed at the amount of posts related to this there are Legitimate visa agents that assist you in getting a LEGAL extension even if you dont have the money in the bank many people use agents cause they can't/don't want to deal with immigration. one of them sponsored this section if you think this is corrupt, fine i look at it as backshish and if you lived in Thailand long enough your realize this keeps the country operating btw; i sleep fine at night ????

been using them since the 90's they have alot of stock BUT better to call ahead (someone speaks english) and make sure they have it stock what you need> otherwise it has to come form Bangkok

only places i know are on the main road between Phuket town heading towards the airport, close by the Mercedes dealership, same side about 500 meters form the gas station

Do you have the required 800,000 in the bank and willing to leave it there all the time? if so no need for an agent, an just pay 1,900/year for the extension AND pay 1,000 baht for single re entry or 3,800 for multiple IF no 800,000, than its a min of 16,000 baht/year, PLUS the re entry> you do the math
