  1. Because you don't understand Biden's message doesn't mean you are correct. Biden's message is the US is a democracy and must remain so. trump is the anti-thesis of democracy, a whiny crybaby loser who was willing to destroy 245 years of American democracy just because he isn't strong enough to accept defeat. If one's opponent is a convicted criminal, a pathological liar, an insurrectionist who tried to overthrow the government, then he owes him zero respect and is obligated to point out trump's evil and anti-American nature. As for Biden...let's see...he took trump's carnage (6.8% UE and Recession) and has: ---presided over the creation of more jobs than any POTUS ever ---has the US growing faster than any other major industrial nation ---got a bipartisan infrastructure Bill passed that will rebuild bridges, roads, ATC, commo ---Got a cap on many prescription drugs, such as $35/month on insulin vs $600/month before ---Got the Chips Act passed. ---Rebuilt NATO That Biden success dwarfs anything the failure trump did.
  2. I have offered my view as to why so many losers Americans chose trump in 2016...enough to win the anachronism called the Electoral College, but not enough to win in 2020. I would repeat the 'why' here, but it would be reported and removed. I can say his base is largely QAnon types (who are batsh!t crazy and ~25-30% of all Americans), Incels, white supremacists, fanatical (supposed) Christians, non-college educated old white men, and Neo Nazis, such as those who marched in Charlottesville chanting "Jews will not replace us". It is unlikely anyone from those groups is a Biden supporter, except maybe some non-college older males. Since trump captures all of those, that kind of explains his % of support. I appreciate that not everyone was born with above average intellect, common sense and rationality. Average means average. trump has captured virtually all of the below average, and precious little of the demographic that is of above average intelligence, successful in life, well-educated, and with a clear understanding of democracy and US ideals.
  3. It's even weirder and more bizarre than you think. A Talking Head on far whackadoodle OANN said, "I've read her lyrics, I've seen her onstage; I think it's witchcraft" A Talking Head on another far right whackadoole nerwork---Newsmax--- said, "It look like idol worship, and you know what the Bible says about false idols" (Apparently he forgot his fellow Talibangicals produced a video, which trump re-Tweeted, that begins, "On 14 June 1946 god sent [trump] to fix his paradise on Earth".......) Fox had several Talking Heads say that entertainers should stay out of politics. They seem to have forgotten that Fox has had guests like Kid Rock and Ted Nugent, who proclaim their eternal love for trump. Besides, nobody on Fox is an actual journalist. They're all entertainers, and they all support trump. SO non-journalts are they that in a court proceeding, Tucker Carlson's (now gone from Fox) lawyer actually said "Nobody should believe what Tucker says". IN other words, Tucker, like all Fox Talking Heads, is a performance artist. Something I had written early upset a snowflake, and was subsequently removed, but frankly, I underestimated the extent of trumpian cult insanity.
  4. Possible, but might be another district. If it proves accurate, this would be yet another Federal felony indictment for tax evasion. It seems 91 felonies is never enough. Perhaps we can expect to hear something between "Witch hunt" and this: "Nobody knows more about felonies than me"..."Some people are saying I'm the biggest felon ever"
  5. "Cabal"? Oh my! Tin foil hat or Faraday Cage?
  6. I'm going to guess $450 million (the judge can go above prosecution request) and a lifetime ban from doing business in NY, plus 5 year ban for Uday and Qusay Jr & Eric. It seems justice is being served and the diner is trump.
  7. Would it be any sillier for people to follow the ideological leanings of an extremely successful, highly intelligent, Grammy-winning business savant, than a willfully ignorant, 6 times bankrupt, convicted sex offender, convicted charity fraudster, convicted bank and insurance fraudster, recipient of 91 felony indictments, Game Show host, born with a silver spoon in his mouth who inherited his wealth but claims to be "self-made"? The former makes people happy, while the fatter latter makes people violent---and according to this bizarre conspiracy theory, as brain addled as him.
  8. But really, who cares what TV Talking Heads think? If voters are really looking at Hannity, Watters, Carlson and comedy channels like Newsmax and OANN for political guidance, they really deserve 4 years of trumpian Recession, high unemployment, the end of democracy, and a fascist state whose primary concern is worshiping the Dear Leader as an idol and doing his bidding by violently attacking anyone who holds him accountable for criminal behavior, and pretending he's John von Neumann because he can repeat Person Woman Man Camera TV.
  9. You have zero understanding of the Middle East issue. Their have long been quiet periods, but the area always erupts again....and always will. trump did aggravate the situation by moving the US embassy, getting absolutely nothing in return but resentment and a commitment by aggrieved parties to continue the strife.
  10. Frankly, Biden was right. The Middle East, in the overall scheme of things, is not that important. Longer term China and Russia dwarf Israel-Palestine. Few Arab countries actually like the Palestinians. They are tired of the issue and want to live their dissolute lives spending oil revenue for their own pleasures. Most want to normalize relations with Israel and do business with the country. There's precious little strategic need to keep the US military on the ground in the ME. A carrier group can do the only needful thing, which is maintaining the free flow of oil and gas through the gulf and Strait of Hormuz. Maybe keep naval facilities in Bahrain or Qatar, but no need for troops on the ground. The Israel-Palestine issue is more political, because Israel is of great importance to many in the donor class. The US gained nothing but resentment for moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Some "dealmaker". As for Iran, the US is biding time until the mullahs die off, and the youth of Iran change the course of the nation more toward secularism and the West. It would be a mistake to bomb Iran now, as so many chickenhawk Repubs are saying, such as "confirmed bachelor" Lindsey Graham. Yes, Iran supplies weapons to militant groups, but does not pull their strings. Using Repub "logic", we should bomb gun stores and gun manufacturers when some whackjob shoots up a church or school. The worst move the US ever made was starting the 2nd Iraq War. The intel back then said "No WMD, or at best a 15% chance", only because one cannot prove a negative. Gulf War One had convinced Saddam that it's better to live a life of "braods, booze and palaces" than try to be a major player on the world stage. Cheney, however, was determined, and got Tenet and Bush to go along, and made a fool of Colin Powell by altering the speech he was to deliver to the UN. The analysts in the agency had prepared a much more neutral assessment, but Cheney overruled Tyler Drumheller et al and gave Powell lies.
  11. OMG, another one who believes everything he hears on Alex Jones and Stormfront.
  12. I was reminded that in terms of financial penalties, trump hasn't even begun to feel the heat. Already noted here: ---$5 million for the first defamation case ---83.3 million for the 2nd defamation case ---$370 million or more for his bank and insurance fraud convictions As they say on late night infomercials, "But wait; there's more!" 11 Congresspeople are suing trump for fomenting the 1-6-21 insurrection and terrorist attack 4 Capitol police officers are suing trump for 1-6-21 These will be civil trials, adjudicated in the DC area, and each could hit trump with penalties larger than the latest E. Jean Carroll penalty. If SC Smith successfully convicts trump of his part in the insurrection, the civil suits will be easy to win for the aggrieved parties. All in, trump could be looking at more than $1 billion, maybe $1.5 billion. In cash. In cash he doesn't have. The guy is going to end up on SNAP and Welfare. The NY Times journalist Russ Buettner has seen all of trump's tax returns going back to the late 1980s. He estimates trump cannot even afford the current fines and penalties, as he has had a negative cash flow for years. trump's two big gains in his life were 1) inheritance and allowance from his father, and 2) royalties from his TV show Apprentice. Absent that, trump has been a business failure. Capital gains on properties he inherited from his father, cash from his father, and later The Apprentice funded his lifestyle, but businesses he began himself, in total, are net losers.
  13. Well, you convinced me. No wonder trump got so many votes, though far from enough to win. I didn't think there were 73 million whackjobs in the US, so now I know how trump's goobers cheated. Thanks.
  14. Best you tell your boy donny that. He took offense in 2020 that the voters didn't choose him, and subsequently tried to overthrow the elected government. He lost the popular vote twice, and took the House and Senate down with him. The word for that sort of guy is: Loser.
  15. trump lost. Bigly. Snowflakes have to get over it. It's 2024. Enough with the maga tears. Save some for when trump is jailed. Good to see that a crass comedy channel like OANN will be going out of business. Maybe Fox could handle $787 million, might be able to do the $2.7 billion Smartmatic, but OANN isn't so cash rich.
  16. If you are going to comment, shouldn't you at least spend a few seconds Googling, so that you do not come across as clueless? In the civil trial where E. Jean Carroll sought damages for trumps actions and words, the judge ruled that trump committed sexual violence against Ms. Carroll, after hearing the evidence and the defense. That makes him a convicted sex offender. In the NY bank and insurance fraud trial, trump was given a choice between a jury trial or a bench trial. He chose bench trial. That means only the judge can rule on the evidence presented. Judge Engoron ruled that trump was guilty of both bank and insurance fraud. Now the only matter is assessing the penalty and fine for which trump has been convicted. It is an actual criminal conviction, not a "non-existent criminal conviction" as you wrote. Both of these trials are matters of public record and the documents related to them are open source and public. You are welcome to go find them yourself.
  17. In 2018, trump Tweeted an image of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama behind bars, saying they should be jailed "for treason". trump claimed both Presidents "spied" on his campaign, that it represents treason, and they should be jailed. 1) Neither President "spied" on his campaign 2) Even if they did spy on it, that does not represent treason. Treason is aid and comfort to an enemy against which Congress has declared war. 3) Since trump said both men should be jailed, he obviously has no problem with Presidents being immune. The only reason he now demands Presidents---or at least him---get total immunity WH to grave (he stole and kept the classified documents AFTER leaving office, so apparently he wants immunity for all acts for life) is because he knows he committed crimes for which he could go to jail or worse.
  18. You mean because a bunch of partisan hacks and cowards in the Senate refused to even call witnesses? Both impeachments were righteous. I suppose you think he had a "perfect phone call" with Zelenskyy where trump withheld approved aid and demanded Zelenskyy manufacture dirt on Biden? Well, the 2nd impeachment is why SC Jack Smith carried out a thorough investigation and indicted trump. Rather than being heard in front of partisan and cowardly Senate hacks, a real jury will hear the case. A grand jury already heard it and preferred charges. So if you pay attention, you will hear "that evidence".
  19. $5.5 million was already posted when he first appealed. He could not get a surety or bondsman, so he had to pony up the cash. When that appeal fails, he will either have to do the same with the second appeal, albeit putting up $83.3 + million or bag the second appeal and the court will force the penalty judgement upon him quickly. The jury is still out, so to speak, on whether he can keep his mouth shut and not defame Ms Carroll any more. If not, expect another lawsuit and an even larger penalty next time. Wednesday he will hear what Judge Engoron will assess him in fines and penalties, and it is likely to be at least the $370 million the AG requested. He'll have to post that money if he appeals, or pay up/have his assets seized if he doesn't appeal. On March 4th another trial begins, this time for felonies related to the insurrection. That will not go well, and undoubtedly he will try to foment violence among his goobers against those opposing him. Perhaps as early as April the Georgia trial will begin, where trump faces a mandatory 5 year jail sentence for violating RICO statutes. That phone call to Raffensperger, plus testimony from co-defendants will be tough to beat. Plus, there's no Federal pardon for State crimes, so donny would be getting fitted out for an XXXL orange jumpsuit. His hand-picked judge in FL may be able to postpone the slam-dunk classified documents trial for a while longer, but eventually she will have to recuse herself because her delays are clearly not law-related. All the while, or at least until Super Tuesday, Nikki Haley will be attacking trump's fragile ego and questioning his manhood..."Come on, donny, show us what you've got". If she goads him enough to get him on the debate stage, his increasing dementia will be on display for the entire world, and will figure prominently in Dem campaign ads. Stick a fork in the fatty.
  20. Speaking of smart enough to tell the difference... ---Why did trump call his goobers to DC on 1-6-21, saying "It'll be WILD!", if not to try to stop the peaceful transition of power? Similarly, why did he tell his goobers to march to the Capitol and fight like hell? ---Why did trump berate the SecState of Georgia and tell him, "Just find me...11,780 votes" if not to force the guy to tamper in a legitimate and fair election? ---Why did trump get involved in a fake elector scheme to replace the legitimate electors, if not to subvert democracy? ---Why did trump steal hundreds of highly classified documents, and then lie about returning them, if his intent was something other than hoping to monetize them? Depending on what excuses are offered, intelligence or lack thereof will be made abundantly clear.
  21. I'm sure his goobers fap to pics of donny and believe all his lies about his being...like really really rich...but those same clowns suck up his silly NFTs and and pieces of the suit he wore when booked and his mugshot taken in Georgia. Why does he need to sell those? A billionaire would give them to his sycophants, as the few million he made schlepping them should be chump change to him. I seriously doubt trump has the $5+83.3+=<$370 million he is on the hook for come Wednesday when Judge Engoron gets finished with the convicted sex offender and convicted bank and insurance fraudster. Also, he couldn't even get a surety to post his $5 million; no way anyone is going to front the pathological deadbeat $83 million. In my hedge fund career, I spend a good deal of the time in Manhattan. A couple of good friends and prime brokers worked at Deutsche Bank, and I learned a lot about trump's business and his debt load...plus how DB structured it. The orange bloated land whale is not what he claims.
  22. Yes, billionaires are always selling silly NFTs that portray themselves as things they are too stupid and too cowardly to be, like fighter pilots and astronauts. Billionaires also cut up the suits they wore when getting their mugshot, and then sell the threads to their cult. trump does not have the funds to cover the $5 million + $83.3 million plus what Judge Engoron is going to assess him on the 31st. Despite inheriting $412 million from 'dad', and receiving a massive allowance every month from age 3 until his father died (according to his niece Mary), donny is a bit cash short. He also owes a lot via the SIVs put together for him at Deutsche Bank, so servicing his debt plus paying the penalties is going to have the guy cutting up more suits and hoping his goobers are maxed out on their Mom's credit cards yet. Lucky for him he is a bloated land whale, so his suits have a lot of material. It is likely NY will simply seize his NYC properties and auction them off. Of course trump will still owe the debt on the properties. It will be fun to watch when a crane rolls up Fifth AVe and rips his silly name off the front of his garish tower. All the Russians inside will get the shakes, as will the Chinese bank that has 3 floors in it.
  23. I really wonder if you were taught civics or any sort of political ideology in grammar school. You toss words around about which you clearly do not know the meaning. You also don't seem to have the slightest clue what the goal and intent of the Founders was. It makes my teeth hurt that anyone can reach adulthood with so little understanding of anything. In case you missed it, it was trump who sent his goobers to the Capitol to overturn the election and subvert the Constitution. That is Insurrection, and according to the 14th Amendment, he is prohibited from running for any Federal office ever again. trump also was intimately involved in the fake elector plot, which is something between insurrection and Sedition, the latter being a capital offense for which I would like to see trump fried on Sparky. He also stole highly classified documents that threaten both national security and the identities of clandestine assets. And for what reason? Likely to try to monetize them, unless a goober can make up another excuse. Perhaps you think Hugo Chavez rose from the grave to write some code, upload it to an Italian satellite, which then altered votes on voting machines in the US? That is what one of trump's crack lawyers told the media (but never in a court, as for that idiocy she would be disbarred)? Where---anywhere---are these "Marxists, Communists and Socialists trying to bring down the Constitution? If you mean non-trump cult members, then you are woefully mistaken, as the Constitution and rule of law---you know, what the Founders laid out---are EXACTLY what the non-trump cultists are following. At this point, when trump's efforts to ACTUALLY subvert the Constitution and destroy what much better people than he could ever be in his own fantasies sacrificed for are not readily apparent to someone, the only explanation is that such people are either anti-Americans themselves or else a few standard deviations left of the mean on the IQ Bell curve. ZERO actual patriots support the clown trump. May he die in jail or sizzle like Sunday morning bacon on Sparky if convicted of the capital crime of Sedition.
  24. In the first defamation trial trump was penalized $5 million. He was required to post that plus some extra, totaling $5.5 million. He could not find a surety or bondsman willing to post even than small amount, so bad is his reputation. It is highly unlikely he will find anyone to post this new $83.3 million plus, which he will be required to post as soon as he files an appeal. Unless a family member ponies up, or he posts assets worth a multiple of the penalty, donny is going to have to find the money somewhere else. He does have $30 million in a Chinese bank, so that could be part of it, but the rest? Fire sale time.
  25. trump was informed of the coming epidemic in late November 2019. He did nothing, and ordered his staff to keep their mouth shut about it. (The agency had provided the intel...but of course trump trusts putin more) Remember in March of 2020 when "It's 15 people now....soon to be one". He made that up, as he was being advised otherwise. He kept a cruise ship at sea because there were ill on board, just so he could keep saying "It's 15 now...." He also took credit for vaccines that were developed independently of any program the US started. He will be in jail come November, but for other crimes than his failure re Covid.
